Response from Joni Ernst from IA, when somebody said that people will die due to the medicaid cuts .THESE PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK.

Better to cut medicare than medicaid. Also better to cut our fat bloated military and the uber wealthy don't need tax cuts either. Lots of better things you could do.

Yah, the theory is that it will just be people that aren't looking for work but it won't work out that way at all. Even the congressional budget office ( I think that's the title) doesn't predict any change in unemployment as a result of this. In reality, a lot of the people that need Medicaid are on it because they have problems that will also limit their ability to clear these logistical hurdles. 

Why do we want to cut Healthcare for kids and young families but make zero cuts to medical care for geriatrics?

That's hilarious! Tax Cuts that cost 6T over the next 10 years is DEFINITELY not causing the problem, but health insurance for the poorest, THAT'S what's causing bankruptcy!

 

I wonder why that doesn't go into effect until Jan of 2029 if it's such a GREAT part of that "Big Beautiful Bill?" Seems....odd, no?

Almost like it...starts exactly when Trump is supposed to leave office! But yeah, clearly Trump really believes in it!
