Hollow victory. Terrible late match strategy. Why give the gumba something to feel good about

I remember when some of y’all wanted cstar on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling.   It’s not like cstar is 3 business hours removed from his 5th ncaa title losing to old geriatric veterans…. Not the best look.

Not super participating in watching the 3rd place bouts on Mat 2... but they appeared all done.

Who won the 125Kg 3rd?

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Why did Sinclair's corner not challenge that 4 point call?? Nothing to lose challenging

He loses the challenge and it is 8-3 at the end and a 4-pointer doesn't get it done.

No, it was 5-3 at that point. And because Barr would have the criteria regardless, there is no difference between 5-3 and 6-3.

I didn't understand that one either. Also, he probably shouldn't have taken that shot. I respect looking to score, but being undersized with the lead.. probably don't need to be so aggressive. I was interested to see Barr have to go get one on his own.

For sure...Dake's 34, WAY past prime and undersized and still beat prime Cstar

At the end, you give 1 point to Barr and it is 8-3.

We don't know how the match goes however, we know it ended 7-3.

He just took one of the goats to the brink and was a second away from winning. If he stays focused on freestyle through 2028, he's going to be a monster

Well, technically if it was 6-3 after the lost challenge, Sinclair would have needed 7 to win rather than 6. But with that amount of time left, I would have risked it being tied at 3-3 being down by criteria rather than accept essentially being down by 3 with 45 seconds left. I have no idea how it was called and confirmed four.

If I am Aiello, I am getting paperwork going to petition him for Final X.

Even if he starts down 1-0 in the Best of Three due to today's result.  He is the highest placed unsuspended player from the US Open.

Carter is not in his freestyle prime yet. Give him a couple years and watch

Ref called 2, other two called 4.  His feet left the mat entirely.

Sinclair had to be over aggressive knowing he needed to score 3 points in the last 45 seconds and gave up the takedown to make it 7-3. If Sinclair wins the challenge, it would have been 3-3 and one point would have won the match.

No dude lol. That's not how it works. It completely changed the completion of the match.

AND adds 2 more over Thomas for Hilger's 6-0 lead.

Physical prime is around 26 - 27.

Edit: that's when it ends...downhill after that

But it wasn't feet to back. It was a crackdown position?
