Yes... there is a notable size different there.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

i want someone to beat valencia on the mat, not in a fight over booger sugar.

Dake was surprisingly low energy for a guy not cutting any weight at all.

Valencia’s gas tank is still absolutely terrible.

The end of that match was super blah.

No. Barr wrestled at U20s last year (and took 2nd).

Unless Hamiti graduated HS at 16, and then did four years at UW/OSU, no chance they are close to the same age.

I’m pretty sure they are very close in age. Hamiti came to college young and went 4 straight years

They missed a Dake step out… point for Valencia.  It was the sequence where Dake wanted his own point for a Valencia step out.  This had no impact on the outcome.

Anyone new to wrestling tonight must wonder about the span of wrestler's sizes:

From the fireplugs of Marsteller, Hidlay and Cronin at the one end to the relatively rangy, wiry or whispy Forrest, Gross, and Wick at the other end.

Yea, that was weird.  Dake definitely stepped out.  Maybe it was a make-up non-call for some of Zahid's self-groundings

So what's the purpose of Sinclair wrestling at U20s at 86kg and Srs at 92kg?

Avoidance of Dake/ZV (world medalists)?

He can eat to his heart's delight after weigh-ins this morning ... maybe?

Pretty wild. I thought there was a rule where if you compete in SRs and place, you get to drop down to other age levels you're eligible for and challenge for the spot or something. Am I making this up?

Dake seems to have more energy at 79KG.

Probably thought he had a chance to win at 92kg seniors.

It's an Askren thing. They had Parker Keckeisen in seniors at 86kg. Connor Mirasola in U20s at 92kg.

I posted above but I thought they allowed you to challenge at the lower age levels if you go for a SR spot and place (while being eligible for younger age group).
