While the impossible happened last night, I see no way how Wyatt beats Gable in freestyle.

That's true but I didn't see any way he'd beat him in folk either.  Part of what makes wrestling so enjoyable.

Fair.  I assume Wyatt is going back to the Air Force ?  And gable is going to do hand modeling commercials?

Eventually Wyatt has to join active service AF. He's such a big dude that you know he won't be flying any fighter planes!

I know it was the end there, but Pindrickson had his legs wrapped up.  Laceman wanted to get paid.

It was all staged theatre, too much $$$$ exchanged in betting on this match, highly suspicious.

Please.  Tell us how you feel.

takdown to leg lace, over in 13 seconds

I agree, and I mean no disrespect when I say this, Steveson should walk through the WTT process with relative ease.

It reminds me of Myles Martin - Max Dean in Martin's Senior season.  Probably the 2nd or 3rd heaviest favorite going in... lost in a match he failed to wrestle in.  He beat him soundly the next time they wrested in MFS.

I think thats actually a good point. A much worse wyatt Gutted Mason to oblivion in 2022 at either trials or the open. Mason ended up winning 17-14 but we have seen gable give it up on the mat to geno who I would think wyatt may have beat in par tear so it may just take one takedown. I think Gable is our best guy still especially in freestyle and maybe by a decent margin. It does give me a lot of hope though since Wyatt is training through 2028 that no matter what we will have a guy contending for gold.
