Wingers have supported civil war, violence and/or mutiny for years now. Nobody seems to care about that though. Total hypocrisy.

Yup. Jan 6 (as merely one example) was all just fake news, just like everything else that doesn't fit your narrative.

The US government has supported some of the worst, and our current president supports the Russian Mafia essentially. Can we get rid of him?

Whataboutism?

I don't think you know what that means.

You made a point that supporting terrorism could get your visa revoked. Point taken. However if that is your position, there are many others, especially those within the government who for years have supported terrorism or brutal dictatorships because they happened to align temporarily with US interests. So when it comes to things like this, you cannot be selective. It's either everybody should get the same, or we shouldn't do anything about it.

So you can't go to funerals? Since when was attending a funeral grounds for being deported?

So why did Trump pardon the 1500 or so people who tried to violently stop the transfer of power, which is the literal definition of terrorism? Why don't they get their citizenship taken away? They obviously don't respect the rules of law.

You don’t know what whataboutism is…. Proceeds to spout some good ol whataboutism.   Also with your typical zero evidence.

whataboutism is a rhetorical tactic where someone responds to a claim or criticism by pointing out hypocrisy or a similar issue elsewhere, rather than directly addressing the original point. It often shifts focus away from the topic at hand instead of engaging with it directly.

this is a fair and sensible point.

what is not sensible is allowing a terror sympathizer a visa to educate students in the united states.

what is not sensible is not deporting violent mulit-time offenders that came into this country illegally.

it could be said that job #1 of the federal government is to keep americans safe.

It means the same thing, even when you use it.

You start with a non-sequitur point that most could agree with, but then you go too far.  There is no prior history of our country allowing monsters to enter and prey on the most vulnerable of its populace.  Quite the contrary, in fact.

The last one yall gripped about turned out to be a terrorist supporter.  Maybe wait to see what they have on frenchy French before complaining.

Being a terrorist "supporter" is basically a thought crime. We continue to be more like Russia everyday.

Yup. The insanely hypocritically wingers constantly talk about freedom of speech but want to punish people merely for "supporting" any sort of rebellion against their warped ideology.

Wow...just wow...you downplay being a terrorist supporter to a mere thought crime and you also equate a terrorist with just a "rebellion against their warped ideology"???  You definitely need to be on a list

I'm sure I am on a winger thought crime list. Won't back down though. I dont support terrorism but i certainly empathize w the justifiable outrage these people feel. Bring it.

Dude….you’re on an anonymous message board, that about a dozen people, maybe two, actually participate in. You’re not that serious.  Your ‘mission’ is no good here.

Didn't think so originally but even simple empathizers like me could get targeted for thought crimes as we continue to move off the deep end to the right in this country.
