A couple of your name/seed combinations are off. I want to make sure you want the name listed rather than the seed listed.

For example, Julian Farber is the 18 seed at 133. The 20 seed is Blake Boarman. I assume you want Farber.

And Ethan Fernandez is the 18 seed at 149. The 19 seed is Andrew Clark. I assume you want Ethan Fernandez.

Let me know if my assumptions are wrong.

Ain't that the truth!

@Wrestleknownothing if it's not too much trouble, would you be able to throw in an all-17 lineup into the final results, just for the sake of comparison?

I like nice things, so yes. Maybe an all 17, 18, 19, etc. All the way down. An all-star team, a second team. There are no bad ideas.

A couple of tidbits before the final summary.

  • 56 entries
  • 97 of 170 wrestlers have been chosen by at least one entrant.
  • 42 of 61 schools with wrestlers in the #17-#33 range, have had a wrestler selected.
  • No wrestlers with a #30 seed have been selected.
  • image.png.5a1c9f00e4b2686c08858d66524432aa.png
  • Indiana and Cornell are tied for the most wrestlers selected with 6 each. Northern Iowa is alone in third with 5 wrestlers selected. Five teams have had 4 wrestlers selected.

Are the brackets locked in now or is there still chance of scratch replacement?

Replacements are allowed up until the first match for any reason. You change your mind, a guy misses weight, the NCAA finally figures out what to do about Brennan, your tarot card reader doesn't like your pick for 165. Whatever.

One caveat.

If you decide not to change anything it is possible that a change in the bracket can cause the seed of your selected wrestler to change. I will use whatever the final seed is for a wrestler.

Another caveat.

I will probably be paying a little less attention this year, so there may be delays in reacting to requests, but as long as you make them before the first match they will ultimately be honored.

The Brennan decision is out. And Brennan is out.

No one took Brennan, or anyone below Brennan, in the 174 bracket. So none of the seeds of wrestlers chosen will change.

If, however, you are playing 3D chess while the rest of us play checkers, and you have analyzed deep into the bracket, taken note of subtleties in the match ups that can only be felt with the most sensitive of instruments, and have thus decided this changes everything, feel free to make a change to your entry.
