That only hides it from your own feed.  Others can still see it.

No one can see WKN's post.   The only place it can be seen is where you quote him in a later post.

Maybe you and WKN can bring a class action lawsuit against Penn State and the 3,000 other universities in America that have public student directories?

I'm still skeptical this confirms anything. They could have registered Ono as a visiting student to get him card access to the wrestling facilities, commons, hub, etc. while he was visiting. Idk, man...

Right now this post makes the most sense.  Do students register in March for classes?

Not saying it's not possible but somewhat of a head scratcher that the most (or one of) talented young freestyle wrestlers in the world would put international competition on hold to chase a NCAA crown

Not entirely true.

Before, it said, "Member", which is what NLWC, faculty and staff members have.

I figured maybe they registered Ono as a student to get around work visa hassles. F-1 student visa likely simplifies things. I'm also taking into consideration the source of the tweet.

Basch had a tweet earlier that he didn't think it means anything that he's in the system as a student, but it appears he deleted that tweet without further comment, so maybe it does mean something?

Originally, Ono was only going to be in town from January to March. Which would be fine for a tourist (90 days) visa.

At the very least, this implies that he's staying longer than originally planned.

The timing would be odd. If Ono announces, is it drowned out by all the NCAA storylines? There's just so much to talk about tomorrow and folks are still abuzz from the tournament.

Well it can fit in with the topic of “can PSU break the record again next year”?

At least Davis has a redshirt available.

Agreed. They could've saved this for the midweek show. Have on Wyatt who just brought more national attention to folkstyle wrestling than it's had in who knows how long. Or Carter who just did something no one else will ever do. Or Hamiti who went through two champions. Or Lovett or Buchanan or Mendez or Antrell or Byrd or Mitch or Vince.
