Question About USAID

Have we stopped wastefully sending our hard earned taxpayer dollars to Israel, or is this very wealthy country (per capita, Jewish population) exempt from DOGE while the poorer countries get completely cut off?

You mean the funding that was proposed in a bill that was passed by Congress and signed by a previous president?  Unlike the money the CIA cutout USAID was sending scattershot around the world for deleterious purposes.

The way USAID does it, about 90% is, yes.  That’s why Marco Rubio is going to oversee the 10% that is legitimate and end the rest.  USAID has developed into mostly a CIA cutout.  If you don’t know that then you don’t know.

The information has been widely available for a long time.  When they do something that sounds innocuous, like an irrigation project in Afghanistan, they pressured the Afghans to grow poppies.

What you don’t seem able to differentiate is that Congress appropriates the money for USAID without direction of where to spend it.
