As a middle aged man do I think it's silly to go on Flo to announce your final four when you already made your choice and will do it tomorrow, yes.  But, we often forget we were once teenagers and acted silly ourselves.  Can you remember when everything was, "a big deal".

Now more people are clicking on his socials which generates revenue. It's savvy - like when a 10 second teaser is released saying when the new summer blockbuster trailer will be available to watch

Didn't Okie State already start a new era when they hired DT?  Is this another new era about to be started?

Honestly, I had no idea Okie State was offensive.  I assumed they didn't like Okie Lite but figured Okie State was fine.

"Okie" was used as a slur for 50-ish years or so. It isn't used much anymore, but folks still remember it being used rudely. As an OK native, we would not call each other Okies unless we're friends and there's an understanding that it's tongue-in-cheek. Nobody seriously calls an Oklahoma dweller an Okie, it kind of outs you. Similar to how nobody from San Francisco calls it "San Fran", nobody from Oregon calls it "Ore-gone", nobody from New York City calls it "New York City", etc.
