Did Minnow actually say $5 mil?  I saw him say “record setting” but hadn’t seen that.  That seems a bit far fetched.  Not to mention “record setting” doesn’t really mean anything because none of the amounts are on the record

$5mil came from the Penn State board.  There are also rumors him and Dreshaun Ross are a package deal and Bassetts dad recently was trashing talking Iowa on a Facebook page.  Don't know if any of these are true.

I’d be shocked if Bassett’s dad was trashing Iowa on Facebook.  

Ross committing to OSU and the timing of Bassett’s announcement do have me leaning it’s them though.

I don't know the details but it was posted on HR.  Also, I'm just posting what I've read, have no insider info, and just have a hunch it's Okie State.  And that is solely based off a hunch

I'd be surprised if there was $5 million in the entire state of Oklahoma, except after the 1st of the month when welfare checks are sent out!

FWIW, in just a quick perusal of HR/GIA and BWI/HVI, the PSU fan comments are much more negative.  One guy called him an “attention whore” and another said “his whole recruiting process has been a farce”

I don’t think anyone was really trashing his wrestling, basically just saying that they don’t really need him (probably true) and not being a fan of how he handled the recruiting process (which yes that is the take that is seen on here as well)
