I’m not in the “keep this stuff out of the sport” camp, but I think both these guys could’ve come up with much better celebrations

Didn't you hear? This stuff grows the sport! All the basketball fans heard we have idiots and they all watch now.

Is this a real question?  Obviously it's worse to shove a guy than it is to do finger guns to the team that does finger guns.

Don't be thick. Doing the guns up sign to the crowd is entirely different than standing over a guy and imitating emptying a clip into his head

Strickenberger lost points for me when he ran off the wrong side of the mat and got lost behind the bleachers.

I was more referring to what he did afterwards as the celebration, not the shove.

The signs are clearly posted. Clearly WVU hasn't gotten to the difficult "reading" part of the curriculum.

I watched and didn't see anything. What happened?

That was a really stupid push by Renteria. He'd already won the match and he risked losing by disqualification?

At the end he put the “loser” signal up and did a little dance, apparently it’s from Fortnite according to the comments on the x post

Just dumb kid stuff. He should be ashamed to do it.

C'mon ...he just beat the Wyoming backup by decision...is that not a reason to celebrate?

I believe it's considered "emoting" on someone.

Wait I knew that name sounded familiar.  He was their starting 133 last year, and got DQ’d at B12’s for punching the guy from Oklahoma in the face.   Didn’t see his match with Renteria, but I probably wouldn’t be surprised if he did something to instigate it

This isn't the first time Renteria did some "gratuitous" post match "celebrating"

Not when he was at Illinois. Dude won nine matches in two years and half of those were against NAIA/D3/Juco competition. He should relax and appreciate the second chance Pendleton gave him.

i am an idiot on the internet
