Will we be treated to a committed shot?

I was wondering the same thing. I thought we were heading straight for tiebreakers.

Good takedown by Ayala.  I'd still take Byrd in a rematch

Byrd can only blame himself for that lose. By doing so little he opened the door. Or Ayala kicked the damn door down.

Only to a Hawk fan

I guess.  He's standing on one leg, bouncing around, they end up near the edge and he gets his leg down already half out of bounds.  Not much place to go.  Pacino finally gets the TD he's been close to.

I don't think being on one leg abdicates the responsibility to not back out

When you're on one leg, you don't have much control, especially compared to the guy with two legs down and holding your other leg.

I didn't like the stall call either, but I also don't feel sympathy for someone who isn't doing anything anyway getting hit.

I agree it is harder, but that doesn't change the responsibility. Just like it is harder if a guy digs in deep double unders.
