Pretty common over the years for "journalists" and media to use stuff that is posted on here. If you are an old-timer on here. you know that FLO was grabbing topics and threads off here to put in their podcasts and to write articles a number of years ago.It won't be long where we may need to protect our board from thievery....

I'm not trying to play devil's advocate, but does it not make sense to write/talk about topics that are receiving engagement on a forum and to take them to a larger platform? I do think they should state a disclaimer of where they found the topic and site any specific posters if they're going to steal their takes. I have wondered for a while why FLO doesn't have their own message board.. it would streamline this process and basically provide freelance content without having to pay for it.

Why are any books banned at all?

Here’s a great list of books that are banned in libraries and schools in CO.

https://cdhe.colorado.gov/banned-book-list

To include: The Things They Carried, The Kite Runner, Born a Crime.

This seems odd,  Colorado is one of those (as some on here like to categorize) a left-winger state.  However I checked on a couple on the list:  A Lesson Before Dying and The Kite Runner.  Both are currently available on Amazon.  Thus any can order and read unless you are saying Colorado won't allow deliver.  So not a "widespread ban."

1648 doesn't seem like a large number considering the total number of book titles world wide.  Do we expect ever library in the country to have on site every book title that has every been printed?  Or do we think libraries have a budget and space limitations and have to make decisions on title on their shelf.  Does this affect library loans?  I don't know but as stated above one can quickly find them on Amazon and even in audio version for title mention above.

Conclusion:  no "widespread book ban."

Moronic to the point I'm going to assume it's a troll

Not to argue for argument's sake but Colorado is not a left wing state. I've lived here for most of my adult life and sure some things lean left but plenty, plenty of things lean right. Anyways no need for a monologue, just surprised anyone would consider Colorado a left wing state unless "presidential voting from the last couple of elections" is literally your only metric, and even that metric isn't an overwhelming majority.

But yeah OP your data has already been sold thousands of times. Literally every website you visit collects and sells your data, some places just tell you that they're doing it.

Its similar to Illinois which was right when I arrived but turned left.  The left turn due to the big cities, look at the two counties that voted for Blago second term.  Colorado was already left of center when I arrived, again big city affect.  Sure there are places where you can hide out from affect and no I'm not telling any where I am hiding.

A new SundayMoringComic Strips w/Jombo for every day, how nice would that be.

Though... wouldn't it lack the originality that ILLINIWrestlingBlog brings to the table?😏

I actually hope there's some AI bot scraping these forums and exploding every time it tries to figure out what the JOMBO comics are about

Is it true AI has already gleaned all of IWB's passwords from the SMCs?

Using discussions, information and such is not illegal. Using it for ideas and to see what people are discussing is not illegal. You can't copyright an idea - just the tangible expression of it. You post something & discover these other site are discussing it - doing stories on it - nothing wrong at all.

But is it true NBC is airing a new Sunday morning show titled:  Meet the JOMBO?
