Police were all too eager to escalate the protests.

Molotovs and burning down courthouses will do that now won’t it

That’s phase two of the riots.   BLM will riot day one.  On basic crap.   Local stores etc…. Mainly peaceful but opportunistic knuckle heads will rob and loot businesses.

The second wave is the antifa dudes paid for by the left.  Those are the professional rioters.   They are the ones wirh the Molotov cocktails and the like.  Those are almost always white liberal kids too.  Those kids with the helmets and umbrellas and black masks etc.

I bet you think George Soros pays them too.

That is good news.   I was just about to post this myself.

He should never have had to go through this.

So murdering somebody who makes you feel uncomfortable is legal now. Guess the guy who iced Brian Thompson should go free.

You sound like an election denier.   He was found not guilty.

Thompson couldn't have made him too uncomfortable.  The guy stalked him for hours and waited for him.

He probably thought Thompson might hurt somebody so he took a proactive stance.

If someone on public transportation screams that they are going to kill me and they don't care if they go to prison, I sure as hell am not going to sit around and see if he is bluffing or not.

Hey neutral,

Riddle us this.   Why was Penny the only one prosecuted when there were at last two others helping him restrain Neely?

And one of the was black.   It is apparent that more than one person thought Neely was a threat.   But I'm sure you would feel much better if he knifed or clubbed someone before being restrained.   Why should someone have to stay in the presence of someone threatening their life?   Because they are trapped on a subway train, that's why.  On the street, a different story.   Many on the train testified in favor of Penny.   So take your fake outrage and put it to better use, like say with well reasoned  arguments.

He didn't threaten anyone and he was unarmed. I've dealt with people saying crazy things and acting weird on public transportation and I've never felt the need to strangle somebody to death over it.

Love the people that know EXACTLY what happened and EXACTLY how they would act, and even better, they know how others should act.

We need more people like Penny who will stand up against the crazy whackjobs who threaten the lives of other people.  People who are against doing so are the pathetic ones and suck as human beings.

I’ve read all over he threatened to kill people and said he didn’t care if he went to jail.  Is that bs?

He said he didn't care if he lived or died and some vague things like that but it doesn't rise to the level of directly threatening somebody. I've heard people who are SMI say things like that and instead of feeling threatened, my response is, "Wow that person really needs help and the police should come try to get them somewhere they can't hurt themselves or somebody else." Not to preemptively attack them and strangle them to death.

You know it wasn't too long ago that words (I'm anti-abortion, I'm anti-trans, etc) were considered violence and could be met with violence.  But now that it went the wrong way, words are not considered violence.   Make your your minds all you lefties.   It is either violence or it is not violence.   You can't have it both ways.   The words used in this case were absolutely violent leading Penny to take action.   I' bet he wishes he just left aft the next stop too.   So much for trying to protect innocent people.
