I would certainly think so. Would not make any sense otherwise.

Yes, Taylor is out for the year with knee issue.

 

The question is when is he able to wrestle for the Engineers, second semester I would guess?

So was Trephan just sitting around waiting for a team to throw some $ his way once a heavyweight goes down? Similar to a Free Agent veteran QB.

I should add one additional element. I was thinking about championship caliber wrestlers. Bubba made sense in that regard, although I was flexible with weight class.

I'd be surprised if he's getting any money apart from a break on tuition. The kid just lost his starting spot to someone a little better than him, a 197lber who couldn't make 197 anymore.  Trephan's a 6th year senior with one more year of eligibility, and is a legit AA contender.

I highly doubt there's anyone at NC State who's upset about this. I think everyone gets it.
