Nice work in providing the articles.  So as it is, the contract was in fact NOT for only 93 vehicles as you intitially indicated and just can’t get your claws off….and appropriated by Congress, not via executive order on the President, as you initially indicated and can’t get your claws off of.

You see boys and girls, this is a good example where such a severe case of something something DS impairs your ability to not even be able to comprehend your own “gotcha” moments.

Just going off memory here but wasn’t this proposed by Biten, pressed through congress without a Republican vote (deciding vote in the Senate cast by Kamela)?  That Manchin says he regrets voting for?  That’s end product was just costly and wasteful as all the renewable projects have been, since Solyndra, and beyond?

In the summary itself, they say the contract is for 3,000.

93 have been delivered so far.

Hot off the press.  Gavin newsome was doing doge before doge was a thing.  I’m actually a little surprised they didn’t pick him over musk to lead this.   You cant argue that California leads the way in efficient government spending.   Can you?

Except that Trump doesn't know binary or hex or even Base10. He's a dinosaur with criminal history/tendencies and dementia. At this point, he's nothing more than a puppet. He will become the president, but will remain a puppet to his wealthy donors. (This isn't something I am celebrating, it is the sad reality of where we currently are.)

I suspect it was "president-elect Musk" or his team that replied here. He jumped in and took the reigns at just the right time. He can't legally be elected president, but he can buy the influence. And Trump would rather accept his cash and go golf, then take a nap than pretend he really wants to be any kind of leader (we all witnessed that his last go 'round.)

We'll transition to "President Musk" in early January - maybe not formally, but all signs indicate he'll be calling the shots.

So many folks in leadership positions in the highest levels of the federal government took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Yet so few of them care about that oath at all.

Welcome to the swamp. Same swamp as in 2016 - but 10 times bigger. And Musk and his money is the fattest alligator in it.
