The most popular form of government that embraces state sponsored censorship:

Authoritarianism

  • Authoritarian regimes, regardless of specific ideology, often embrace censorship to consolidate power. These regimes prioritize state control over individual freedoms, which frequently leads to restrictions on speech, media, and political dissent. For example, under authoritarian governments like those in North Korea or China, strict censorship is enforced to maintain a singular narrative supportive of the ruling party.

On the other hand, what is Trump's record with lawsuits?

lol

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_and_business_legal_affairs_of_Donald_Trump

...  From 1973 until he was elected president in 2016, Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over 4,000 legal cases in United States federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over 100 business tax disputes.

... Of all cases with a clear resolution, Trump was the victor 92 percent of the time.

Looks like his record is pretty good.

Political cases.

You know, since 2016.
The rest of that article.

I suspect his ratio has fallen off a bit.

I only know of three cases and those are not done with the appeals.

First case he was found liable for sexual harrassment.   The plaintiff couldn't even state when it happened.   How do you have a  jury that finds liability for something that the accuser doesn't remember when it happened?   Good question, there is no good answer.

Second, Trump found guilty in overvaluing his property even though there was no one to accuse him of wrong doing other than the prosecutor.    That is under appeal as well.

Third, Trump found guilty in a case where a misdemeanor that was beyond the statute of limitations was resurrected to become a felony because the misdemeanor was pursuant to another crime.   Never mind the  Feds refused to prosecute, NYC decided to do it.   As has been stated here many times, the "another crime" was never stipulated in the indictment, and the judge told the jury they didn't have to agree what he did, just that he did something and that would count as a verdict of guilty.   That one also is under appeal and not finished.

So he has lost 3 of 3 since leaving the WH as far as I know.   But these will surely be overturned on appeal, at least the last two.   So that will be 66.67% winning if he wins the two and 100% if he wins the three appeals.

Hamburger is up 75%.

First, hamburger is not up 75% since the end of 2022. That is just dumb. Hamburger was up 4.3% in 2023. Not sure what 2024 is so far, but it aint 70%.

Second, invest less in hamburgers, more in stocks.

And the 62 cases he used to try to prevent the election results, of which he lost 62?

The $10B case is going nowhere.

We had NEGATIVE GDP growth. Inflation ROSE under Trump from Obama, we LOST manufacturing Jobs under Trump(Even before Covid which he magically gets NONE of the blame for) and we've GAINED 800K manufacturing jobs under Biden...

But I guess if you just say 'nuh-uh,' then it must be true.

According to factcheck, you qualify for a job with the MSM.  There was a loss of 7,000 manufacturing jobs in 2016 before Trump took office.  The economy was still up over 400,000 manufacturing jobs before the pandemic.  Biden saw a return of those pandemic-lost jobs, and his economy saw another 170,00 jobs added post pandemic recovery.

Stop eating at McDonald's.

You have clearly demonstrated that you have no idea how inflation is measured.

Gov and media sponsored censorship is just that.  It doesn’t matter if Trump wins the case (he won’t win this one).   But no one disagrees that they edited the video.   You’re not disputing that.  You’re cool with it because it’s for your team.

Says someone whose party is supposed to care for the working class.   I don’t eat there.  Haven’t in 20 years.  But the working man you’re ruining.   That’s on you brother.

I didn't take a position on whether the video was/is edited.
It makes ZERO difference to this cowpat of a lawsuit.

Maybe try actually reading what was written.

A single company's prices are indicative at all of economic trajectories.

Only dumb people would make an argument that wrong and simplistic.

Admit it.  Censorship is censorship.   If your media team changes vids to make them look better.   That’s crazy censorship.  All the while claiming Russians are making mean tweets costing you 2016.

More blather that has nothing to do with the viability of this legal action.

Flap your arms some more.

I am not sure what 10 years has to do with 2 years, but as long as we are stretching the window, the S&P 500 is up 277% over the same period.

Again, stop going to McDonalds. Start investing.

I don’t eat at mcds.   You’re from the party that is supposed to be helping poor people.  They can’t afford good food.  They can’t afford to get an id to vote.  Thats too racist.   They don’t have $ to invest.   I did fine in the market.   Help your people.

I am fine financially.
