Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Sad almost gets another td but DT defends and Sad ends up with a pushout 5-0

Sad counters a DT shot and goes up 7-0 with a td

DT had nothing for him. Not sure if he could have implemented a different strategy or not but that was not close.

Not entirely sure why the gameplan was to go underneath him especially after bagaev scored 7 points off an outside step high c/single none the less great effort by David and Sadulaev looks in form.

How many go behinds has Taylor experienced against him?  Feel like it has been very very low.  Sad got it twice.  Springs like a cat.  And I think that snap down before one go behind was unreal.

To DTs credit, was not chest wrapped after being threatened with it multiple times.  And didn’t get gut wrenched.

I also did not understand why he was just dropping in on his right side single leg stretched out like that. No way you are pulling that leg in on Sadulaev. Easy to arm chair QB the match but perhaps he just could win the hand fight to get in the positions he wanted. Sadulaev looks in shape and explosive.

92 might be Sad's best weight. Never the less him vs Taz rematch is must see. Still not sure the torch has been fully passed yet considering Taz's somewhat close matches with Snyder and Azarpira. Whatever happens I think its a lot closer than their 2023 worlds match.

Wow! Sadulaev’s defense is just too good. DT tried to throw everything at him and never really came close to a takedown. Sadulaev looks like he lost most of his “dad bod”… honestly he probably should try to go back down to 86. I think he could make the weight and would be dominant there. I think he was just so so good there was no reason to try to cut weight… until Taz showed up. It will be interesting to see if he considers going down

Damn... what a time for my internet TO GO DOWN!!!

Sadulaev w/ the shut out... only hope that he'll make it to and win in the semis.

It wasn't due to DT working hard (he WAS!) Rather it was hardly working for DT to get on the scoreboard.

I'm gonna be late for work... till then, Sayonara.

Taylor did not leave shoes on mat.  I can see wanting to get off mat and clear head.

Why would he? Sad will likely make the final. No reason not to attempt to get a bronze after flying all the way over.

He will be pulled back in.  Surely a head coach will not call it a day and will walk the talk and go get the next best thing.

This was the ultimate betrayal of Sanderson. Taylor steadfastly refused to try a single ankle pick. I thought for sure with his reach he'd be picking ankles all match. Instead, he snubbed that favorite Sanderson technique. Anyway, that's my theory. How else do you explain: High crotch. Squash. Go behind. Two. Repeat?

Also, I like Brits and Scots when they do comedy but not so much wrestling commentary.
