That’s for migratory birds like dove and doesn’t apply to pheasant and quail.

Electoral college has just been voting for whoever wins their state. So votes in less populated states count several times more than those in more populated ones.

Our country is called the United States for a reason.  Not the United Individuals.  Without the Constitution, the Senate, and the Electoral college many states would not have joined the Union.  The only protection the less populated states have at all against mob tyranny is the Constitution, the Electoral College, and the Senate.  Any move to modify any of those items should also come with a commensurate ability to leave the union without sanction due to a change of the terms of the contract upon which those states joined the union.

If we are going to make a modification how about 1 state, 1 vote.  It seems to work for the United Nations.  Or, we can do the European Union Style - 55% of the countries or 65% of the population to pass something.  So 28 states can carry any legislation and, presumably, the presidency.

Everybody should have equal say. It's that simple. Amend the constitution. Overhaul it, actually. Written by a bunch of power hungry slave owners.

The Constitution was had more northern states approve it than southern.  Those states represented over 60% of the white population in the country.  So, actually, the Constitution was ratified by a bunch of prominent and normal for the time Americans seeking to restrict the power of the central government as much as they could.
