He didn't graduate from Iowa, he was a non-degree student.  But I am unsure how much he competed this summer.

this is a suprise, I thought I read somewhere that he was pursuing his masters. Plus, in an podcast interview with the giggling girls he said he wanted to go to medical school.

He has a Psychology degree from Stanford.  If his plans are medical school, he could have been taking Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Calculus, Physics, etc at Iowa to prepare for the MCAT.  That would not be a specific degree program necessarily.
