David Taylor kicks started Jordan Williams off the team!

I bet Jamison moves up to 149 to take Williams place and Hughes move up to 141.  The void I see is at 133.  Probably going to put Witcraft in at 133 so now I see O-States weakest weight class being 133.

Jordan Williams was dismissed from the team due to being arrested for Public intoxication.

Nothing like broadcasting rare bad behavior from our wrestlers. It certainly promotes the brand and helps us grow, NOT. Meanwhile 99% of our wrestlers live right and do the right things. That’s what I want to hear more about. Do the right thing and delete the thread.

It happened and is public knowledge.

This thread is a half day late - it was reported yesterday and is publicly out there. BTW this post does not hurt the wrestling brand on a wrestling message board....it hurts the brand where it has already been posted to the public.

There was already whisperings about Williams when DT arrived. The sad part about this is that despite his problems last year, having DT come in with strict policies, he chose to do this again. Hopefully he can get things straightened out and get to another school down the road. We have seen others succeed.

Rumors are he goes to Campbell.

That's a pretty quick rumor for a guy who was just dismissed today and might not even be awake yet....

Jimmy says Iowa.  🙄

Jimmy thinks everyone is going to Iowa.

I’ve know a kid who knows a kid who’s at ok st…it’s not super reliable, which is why I said that “rumors are”, but it’s better than jimmy saying everyone goes to Iowa.

Okay...yesterday.... my comment still stands.

Yes he was just arrested yesterday morning and later dismissed.  Highly doubtful in coaches are jumping on recruiting when he may not even yet be sober.

Well maybe Rider and Lock Haven.  But otherwise, good point.

You can get into Rider if you can show a picture you once Graduated from any Middle School

I had two former teammates wrestle for Rider.  They were from very different generations:

Derek Jenkins and Mike Miller.  Both guys are solid as oak.

Wasn’t one of ISU’s starters arrested twice also?

You may be speaking of the young man Garrett Grice.  However, ISU is founded on the principles of forgiveness as taught by Jesus Christ.  Oklahoma State teaches the values of eye for an eye, as consistent with the Ionel Principles 🍌

No I wasn’t.  Have they had multiple guys arrested twice? (And FWIW he was not a starter).  Dresser spoke publicly about the one I’m referencing.
