Figueroa stole the 8 seed. DeAugustino feels seeded very badly at 18. McKee 9 Barnett 10 feels totally way offbase. I know there are rules to this thing but jeez. McKee had a much better season than Barnett and it doesn't show here- nor do DeAug 2 wins versus Ayala. Provo at 14 feels like a reach too. Big 10 was punished too hard. Noto was shafted with the 12.

Good to see Penn State’s “third seed” at the beginning of the season get the top spot.

125 is so unpredictable this year that I expect the unexpected. And the unexpected is every wrestler placing exactly as they’re seeded. Like the hairs on Shane sparks’ head, not a single 125 pounder is out of place.

I like Ayala's chances better than Stanich. Camacho is going to be a gatekeeper for Stanich. I can see a semi of Noto-Davis and other side Camacho-Ayala. Might we get 12 Noto against 7 Camacho in the finals? I'm leaning towards Camacho over Davis in the finals...

Top half looks rough. I like Ayala's draw but this feeling of "wow, looks like a nice path for this Iowa wrestler" gets me every damn year.

Agree, i think the top half looks worse. I expect the bottom to be 2 vs 3 in the semis with 2 winning

Top may be full of upsets with peterson, Figueroa and noto.   Plus the 1 seed and former #1

I know I wouldn't take any bets on 125 outcomes.  Everyone had looked great and then very beatable.

Ayala imo had been very consistent and had no real bad losses.  His problem is lack of offense which keeps him in close matches against guys that he will most often beat but will sometimes lose to.  That could very well be the difference between him making the finals and not getting past the quarters.

I really don't see Davis coming out of the top bracket.  It's just packed with tough guys.  I'm still just hoping for an AA out of him.

I am calling now that winner of Ungar/Peterson takes out Davis in the second round.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all. Not ready to call that yet, but I don’t think there’s anyone at 125 I’d shoe-in even to the quarterfinals. It’s a wild and wide open class.

For Davis, I’d also be pleased with any placement/AA

Picking a winner is like Skeletor in an old Crazy Eddie commercial...

Crazy Skeletor... his 125 pick  for the NCAA's is INSANE!

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
