It seems that 125 is finding some certainty with the UNANIMOUS numero Uno.

Purdue is on the rise; Matt Ramos is ending the season on top of the podium.

Purdue is going to have to do more to be considered a program on the rise for me. They area Big 10 school that went many years without an AA and then finally got a couple last year. This year they have one likely AA (possible champ) in Ramos and then one guy who has a an average chance in Joey Blaze.

There is only one undefeated 125lber left in the nation and it is not Matt Ramos.

Matt Ramos, JR (Year 5)
19W - 4L
Common Opponents Record: 5W - 1L
Average Margin of Victory: +3.0
Average Margin of Victory (Sans DeAuggie): +5.2

Braeden Davis, FR (Year 1)
14W - 0L
Common Opponents Record: 7W - 0L
Average Margin of Victory (Sans DeAuggie): +4.8

WrestleStat Projection: Matt Ramos over Braeden Davis via 7-6 Decision

As of right now, I do believe Braeden Davis would get the #1 Seed come B1Gs.

Given that he pinned Spencer Lee last year I think this is a reasonable take.

This only solidifies for me the pin of all pins was LEGIT.

Braedon Davis being undefeated might mean something for seeding but it doesn’t mean anything to me. He lost that match Friday.

No I agree, but I can manifest both a champion and a team on the rise. Only 10 folks win each year and if Purdue has one that would be huge for the program.

ill withdraw every penny from my 401k for an NIL deal for Joey Blaze’s younger brother (Marcus blaze) to go to Purdue…

He didn't actually lose, though.

His hand was raised.

He won on a shit call - I will admit that every single time.  The same as Kilkeary lost on a shit call.

I think Blaze to Purdue would be badass.

Can we say he lost the match but was declared the winner?

That’s reserved for Brian Realbuto ‘over’ Ian Miller.

He didn’t lose on the scoreboard. But by the scoring of wrestling he did lose. Unfortunately this will help seeding and such.

I’m not too sure the coach’s rating will follow the ref’s call, either.

Well he is slated to wrestle Ayala, Peterson and Caleb Smith before then.  If he beats them all then yes #1 seed is earned.

That's as may be, however I meant if B1Gs were this weekend.
