What have you got. I lost to Keith Stearns NCAA champ 4 to 2 in overtime at National finals . what you got. Placed 2nd at CKLV in Vegas to Pan Am silver medalist. What have you  got. Nephew was a 2 time all American for Penn State and a finalist.

Being a good wrestler doesn’t mean you’re smart.  Sorry.

Keith Stearns was only a champ because he had no competition.

So that means if you were coaching Welsh tonight he would have beat Starocci??

Starocci was off a little tonight . Welch for a true freshmen did much better than I expected. I expected for Starocci to get a major decision. So the answer is no. Starocci will win his 4 title this year.

Someone with your pedigree and me (a measly non decorated Wrestler) both think Starocci will win a fourth title.  That’s insane.

Finally got to watch the replay and I thought Ohio State was better than expected. They certainly deserved more than 9 team points. They were never going to win the dual, but they should feel pretty good about their effort.

Kilkeary was robbed. That's three (at least) all day.

Bouzakis came out swinging and held on. It's a good win for a guy who looked lost earlier this year.

Credit to Bartlett for blocking his way to a win. Mendez (or Menendez) couldn't get through that collar tie. The neutral danger was close, but it looked like Bartlett had the better position on that exchange via his counter and likely would have scored either way.

Rogotzke is one of those guys you want to watch. Truax was having his way with him, until he was counting lights.

Mesenbrink and Brooks are unreal.

Kerk is stomping everyone across from him.

The officiating left many things to be desired.

the buckeyes next year ( 2025 ) should be in great shape, the following year 2026 I'm getting tickets to that match .  It should be a barn burner. I would  i have no problem red shirting Mendez next year that way he would available for 2026 and 2027.  I will definitely be at the dual in 2027 at Ohio State.
