he has got to be the most high maintenance athlete in wrestling. he's a lightening rod of publicity and no one wants, or no one can keep him around for more than 12 minutes.

Give AJ Ferrari a chance and maybe Suriano will seem a bit more normal?

before the charges, I would give ferrari a break in my own mind because john smith, who is as honest as it gets amongst d1 coaches, said he was a really great teammate. This is pretty easy to believe based on seeing him in tournaments when he was high school, so despite the fact that he might be a worse person than suriano i doubt he is what I would call high maintenance.

however I just remembered how many high schools he went to, but at least one transfer wasn't his doing based on what i've heard.

Yes, am looking at AJ after all the legal/illegal stuff, personal behavior and such.

When he was wrestling you could see John Smith turning red on the  edge of the mat.

AJ seemed like a good teammate but kind of an egotistical jackass.

thats the distinction, people don't mind an egotistical jackass if they really care about the people around them.
