Before Hamiti ultimately won, Ramirez had him in all sorts of trouble at NCAA.  Still expect Hamiti to win but could he an interesting match

If the thread ages well you could then call it Bourbon and Wkn would be happy.  🙂

Would have to have that old dead politician change the name, though.  Can't if it is older than 15 minutes.

Another TD Gomez off a slop shot by Yianni.  Yianni gymnastics to get out of TD didn’t work.  7-2 on escape.  Yianni not setting up and not getting cleanly in. Another counter TD by Gomez!!  Damn.  9-2. Yianni not looking good.  Credit to Gomez as Gomez is out scrambling him.

Wow!!!!!  Gomez wins big!!  9-3

Both Yianni and Vito looked disinterested.  Yianni body language as he came out to wrestle was kinda like ‘do I need to be here?’  … didn’t like what I saw.

I feel like he didn’t think anyone on his level this year and as you said, came out like he just had to show up. Gomez a big match type wrestler. I remember RBYs freshman year, RBY was dominating Gomez, Gomez threw him in his back and pinned him.

The first 3 weights for Cornell looked pretty good, I thought; but after that, they looked slow and out of shape up and down the lineup.  Wisconsin, on the other hand, came to scrap.

No, this team won't give PSU much of a go.  Let's hope a different Cornell team shows up for that match, if indeed they can get that far.

Is the whole team sick?  As you said, after the first three matches, they looked dead.
