Flo has a show about the 10 best wrestlers over the last 50 years. Luckily you can see their list without listeng to the lengthy broadcast and they also say the they got their list from Chat GPT. Ben Askren, who is on the Flow list asked if Chat GPT would answer the same way if you asked again.

Turns out the answer is no. I asked Chat GPT the same question, perhaps phrased differently. I got an answer that did not include Askren. Here it is:

As an AI language model, I do not have personal preferences or opinions, but I can provide a list of some of the most accomplished and successful NCAA wrestlers in the past 50 years based on their achievements and accolades:

Bunch of knuckleheads!   50 years is 50 years and Gable ain't in it!

How many times did Gable win it and what years?  Do the math.

I am not sure how I feel about a technology that can write a decent limerick about a smurf crossing state lines on a Sunday to buy liquor but can't get basic facts right that are readily verifiable. I see at least six errors in the accolades on that list. ChatGPT is the ultimate human: often wrong but never in doubt.

Gable won it 2x 68 & 69 lost it in 70.   He should not be on the list but some knucklehead fans can't do math

You forgot- Gable also won in '21 and '22!

ChatGPT can be fun. I asked it to write a limerick about David Taylor taking PEDs at Treigning Lab and it refused. Also refused to write one about taking testosterone and EPO. Found that it would write one about taking creatine or "supplements". Apparently, it already has enough data to know who David Taylor as I didn't say anything about his wrestling in the prompt. Here it is:

In Treigning Lab, David did sweat,

Seeking strength, he placed his bet.

With supplements in his stash,

He aimed for a powerful dash,

On the mat, his foes he would threat!

To begin with, Mark Schultz was 3 time NCAA Champion and a 2 time World Champion.  How about Zain Retherford 3 time NCAA Champion, 3 time Big Ten Champion, Hodge Award, 2nd World Championships 2022, Hodge Trophy, then there is Jason Nolf who could go ahead somebody....3 time NCAA Champion 2 time Big Ten Champion 4 time all American.
