I believe it.  I remember a YouTube interview from 2 or 3 years ago.  He seemed like a very intelligent, engaging, humble young man.

I was sad that there were no Mesenbrink sightings in Iowa this weekend.  Hopefully he isn't injured and it was more of a beak and feathers routine.
