Here's a little history lesson for the board: Before World War II, the committee put out these pre-seeds:

1. Germany

2. Japan

3. Great Britain

4. Russia

5. Italy

6. Austria

7. France

8. THE U.S. OF ******-******* A.

Obviously the committee was unaware of the big moves the US and GB had been practicing.

Lee didn't wrestle Barnett, right?

I could see Lee getting stuck on bottom against both Peterson and Barnett which would serve as an interesting preview for how his match with Glory will go

Lee chose bottom against Barnett and reversed and pinned him this year. That should serve as an interesting preview for how his match with Glory will go.

Turtles are rolling, bad seed for Lee.

Switzerland came in as the 33 seed with a record of 0-0 but everyone knew they were the absolute best when choosing neutral

Were they in a pigtail?

The Austrian program folded prior to the start of the tournament thus forfeiting their #6 seed.  You'd have to add in either Finland or Australia

Did they use Title IX as the excuse to drop the program?
