What happened in Lee's Match?

It looked like Witcraft waas trying some kind of throw, but slipped out of it and wound up on his back. Or did Lee initiate a throw?

Or was it witchcraft?

I could not tell and the announcers were mum.

Looked to me like Reese locked up a cow catcher and Lee cartwheeled over to the other side. Immediately reacted

It was sorta like a cowcatcher, except Witcraft had both his arm and head under arm. I fortget what it's called if I ever knew in the first place.

i believe in PA they call that a cement job that the osu wrestler was trying from his feet

had lee going and then lee reacted and cartwheeled over  and stuck the guy

I think it's actually Witcraft that was playing with fire there.

Witcraft was not playing with fire, he was going to get pinned at some point in the match unless he pinned Lee early.  Witcraft is dangerous from his feet.

A couple guys have shown the path to beating Lee, you get one attempt.  Yes wizzards & witches might have a slightly better chance but picc your spot it is a very very thin path.

Seabass definitely didn't look like he matched Spencer's strength the year before when he lost 7-3 and then 12-0.

Also, the dual was lost so the crafty witch should've saved it for the NCAA tourney, the magic only works once if that.

Looks like he was going for an elevator, ala Nickal vs. Martin or Ness vs. Alton. He just made a really shitty attempt at it against one of the best in the game.

Here's what I saw: Imagine both guys ear-to-ear on all fours. Then each man puts their inside arm over and around the guys neck/head and grabs the chin ... like you would for a cowcatcher/snake/cement mixer. Both guys have the exact same hold ... just tge chin. The other hand is free.

Now imagine one of the guys sitting/ducking under on the free hand side while pulling the other guy's head down.

 

Now imagine doing it from your feet

Pretty certain he is done for the season, dinged up/health reasons.  No indication that he is leaving, hopefully healthy next year.
