lol why you gotta be so dishonest?  This is totally irrelevant to whether or not this person is “to blame for” (to quote @Gene Mills Fan) being assaulted.

  • Inside the venue: Political parties are private organizations and can set access rules. They are not bound by the First Amendment in the same way, but they must apply rules without discrimination (e.g., based on race, gender, or disability) Freedom ForumFreedom Forum.

You two think anyone can do anything they want. Do you allow your kids to swear and curse at you?

Cool, so same can be said for MAGA trolls at anti-ICE rallies, women’s sporting events, drag shows, etc?

So Republicans can send people to the DNC and they can stand with the Dem's and use air horns and shout over the speakers and its just their 1st Amendment right?

They don't... Were there bots and dumb people on twitter saying that? Sure, does that encompass an entire political party? Emphatically no.

Stop peddling lies.

There are plenty on film saying so.  Famous people.  Elected people.  Of course not the whole party.

I have said repeatedly that I am fine with her being removed from the building.   But it should have been done by the venue staff, not police who should have instead arrested the people that assaulted her.  Not only were they not arrested they were allowed to stay.  A disgusting display of fascism.

Well according to you if they get assaulted, they themselves are to blame.

What famous and elected people? The only one I recall was “Doja Cat” IIRC.

Please, pretty please do not say Ilhan Omar.  If so you will just further prove that you are a liar.

This is one area where I agree with: stupid tricks win stupid prizes.

Lol, so you’re quibbling over the difference between “their fault” and “to blame”?

Does it cause you psychological discomfort to accept they didn't know she was assaulted, until seeing videos after?

So it was just police incompetence?  They could have easily found out more information but chose not to.  I think it was intentional, but maybe it was just stupidity like you’re saying here, I guess I can accept that.

I just critiqued what happened you are quibbling.  I said they wrongfully responded but their actions will be mooted due to the circumstances and nature of allowed behavior inside a venue.

Well I edited my post from originally saying “their fault,” to instead saying “to blame,” to match your words.  You replied twice to say it’s not their fault, but they are to blame.  What’s the difference?

I saw a videos of som on the right supporting Trump not releasing the Epstein Files...

Ergo- the entirety of the right supports not releasing the files

See how dumb that sounds?

Ashley Babbitt was made a martyr by the right after breaking into the capitol building after repeatedly being told to stop her advance by security and secret service.

I don't recall the right saying- "play stupid games win stupid prizes"

They started chants of "remember her name" and propped her up as some hero for violating the law and refusing the orders of law enforcement while a mob continued to trespass in restricted areas.

I always try to say the internet is not real life but people on here are very consumed by social media and what is fed to them on their apps. They make it their entire personality.

Great comparison.  Let alone trying to break in, If she didn’t go to DC that day she’d still be alive!  100% to blame for her own death.

(Of course, the real answer is she is to blame anyway, if you lead a mob try to break windows to break into the Capitol, don’t expect to be treated nicely).

I pasted context on the difference between an instigator and a responder in assigning blame ??  sorry she falls into the instigator category. when you stupidly attack with emotion you get stupid irrational emotional response. IMO the party who came to be peaceful was coerced by the party who came to cause trouble. But throw out all circumstances because they acted badly is ridiculous. She coerced them into acting badly.

Cause some think she's a martyr it's the whole party. I thought you guys just explained how this is not true. Did the security guard get arrested? Why was he not arrested and brought up on charges? Because she was doing something she should not have been doing.

Well the current president who represents the entire party led the charge which does lend more credibility to the claim "the right" when the party leader is actively pushing it. It's a little different when you are comparing the current president to random twitter accounts in this instance.

Am I saying the whole party thought of her that way? No I'm not, but there are differences.

Additionally- all those that you and I agree were doing something wrong that day that had charges brought against them were pardoned...

She is definitely to blame for what occurred.  She didn't lead the mob or break any windows herself, but she was in the mob, and tried to climb through a broken window... and it was reasonable to expect a violent retort.  Her entering through the broken window dismisses any consideration if she was one of the grandmas that walked through doors that gov funded staff were holding open.  Interesting her family settled a 5M lawsuit with the gov, without going to trial and without the Gov admitting fault.  I think she was definitely at fault, unarmed, hands up and all.  The police have a right to defend, certainly with guns, against a mob entering broken windows getting close to where officials are.

If we determined 50 years from now that J6 was an insider job or that the FBI allowed it to occur, or that the 2020 Election was indeed rigged... she still would be to blame in the context of the situation.

Most of the J6ers were rightfully pardoned, unquestionably.  AND pleny of them should still be in jail.  You don't get to do violence and get out of jail free.  But because the DOJ was weoponized and made worse that it was preknown to occur, and the smallest of 'offenses' prosecuted and lives unnecessary damaged because of it, and entirely spun wrongly in a way that still has people in a trance, I supported pardoning everyone as a Masvidal message.

Sure it could be incompetence.  BIAS will naturally be against the person causing the disruption.  Unless that girl is in a very wrong physical way or something was seen, I wouldn't expect them to go back to inquire who was involved with holding them (to discover one sided assault).  Note that the officers also didn't charge her with a crime and she walked out on her own accord.  She was probably in shock but we don't hear her on body camera footage informing others that she was assaulted while being escorted on a long walk out to the building exit.
