Yes.  He supports capital punishment “for the guilty,” and said some 8 year olds can be guilty.  Therefore he supports capital punishment for 8 year olds. Pretty cut and dry.

liberal women think killing their kids after birth... by whatever means is acceptable

So killing mass murders/terrorists and babies is the same, but you are pro choice but you also oppose the death penalty? You literally support murdering babies and oppose capital punishment for terrorists? An unborn child has less value than a terrorist? Libs are sick people.

Honestly to understand you have to put your starting belief aside.  Don't say the word baby or human.  Say cells or fetus.  Then accept that a fetus does not have human rights.  With this view what becomes of the fetus is dismissed.  Certainly not murder.  Do you even know science bro?

You likely think a fetus is a baby, same as me. Babies are humans. So from that view abortion is the largest genocide in history. That’s the core of the pro-life position... people are calmly ending millions of innocent lives and acting like it isn’t a big deal.  Some options... keep repeating to myself that other people genuinely don’t see the fetus as a human with rights, until I can live with the disagreement. Or do something irrational that destroys everything I care about. The second one isn’t actually an option.

Sadly that option requires the same mindset as theirs does

Explain it to me please where I was inconsistent as well as how it relates to the topic.

Like I said, I agree with your earlier premise that the death penalty (for adults) isn’t comparable to abortion.

I think the Gaza argument is more relevant, because most people will agree that a baby is innocent (not everyone, I saw a video of an Israeli recently who said it was “humane” to kill Gazan babies just so they don’t grow up to become terrorists later, hopefully no one here agrees with that).    You later clarified that you would be OK to kill an 8 year old acting as an active combatant.  Sure, if they were literally pointing a loaded gun at you, and if that is literally your only scenario where it’s okay to kill them then I’ll accept your consistency.   Of course, many of the deaths in Gaza are the result of drone strikes where no IDF soldier is actually in danger, so in those cases, hopefully you agree that an 8 year old should not be killed.

Never did I say I support capital punishment for 8-year-olds. You are being completely dishonest and ridiculous here.

First, you are conflating moral guilt with legal eligibility for execution. Second, you are twisting my words to your own end.

Here is your logic...

...Adults should be able to buy alcohol. 18-year-olds are adults. Therefore, 18-year-olds should be able to buy alcohol.

...God is love. Love is blind. Ray Charles is blind. Therefore, Ray Charles is God.

I have never thought about youth guilt of this magnitude outside of two questions:

  1. What are the ethics of killing youth combatants in war
  2. Why are dogs that bite euthanized (do they know what they have done, can they be contained or changed) --- its related...

Legally the youth cannot face capital punishment outside of combat.  So I don't need to give an opinion on it one way or the other.

How is it an appropriate question to ask if 8 year olds should be killed?  Do you expect someone to say "yes"?

You’re taking “capital punishment” too literally.  But intentional killing by the military even in a war is essentially the same as capital punishment.   As the Naza documentary has taught us, they may not usually be “targeted” when they are killed in Gaza, but they are often intentionally killed.

In your first example above, yes I agree it can be interpreted that way, if you say “adults should be able to buy alcohol,” that could be certainly be interpreted as all adults.

You’re the one being ridiculous with the second example, you’re using two figures of speeches.

If it’s to complicated for you to understand, you might try something like checkers, tiddlywinks.

2 people are killed. You think one is ok while the other isn’t. It’s not that complicated

The same people on here posting 30 plus page threads on how they don’t trust the government simultaneously trust the government enough to conduct executions lmao

Where did so say I was against the death penalty? I merely posed the question on how do conservatives square away calling themselves pro life while having the government kill people. This guy should be under the prison but I don’t think it’s ok to live stream it as a conduit of the ministry of propaganda, and which may cause more terror attacks due to hasan being a martyr

I hope they livestream the execution of a criminal scumbag winger during the next admin. I hope it isnt nearly as quick as a firing squad though.

I also want to see severe humiliation and degradation leading up to the actual execution.

Can wait until '29. Next prez needs to do it.

Vengeance is coming.....

Right to control your own body trumps it.  Hands down.

So no seatbelt laws.  No helmet laws.  Even no speed limits.   I control my own body and its speed.

Thats 110% different. Horrible example. Im talking about simply removing the fetus from the body. If the fetus cant survive without the woman's life support, and nobody else can do it, that isnt her problem.

It is a perfect example. Another is nudity laws.  My body, my choice not to clothe it.  Complete body autonomy is or is not your principal? I suspect it is not your actual principal.

Fetal survival has no bearing on the concept.  In fact, if fetal survival is a factor then she can end her pregnancy ONLY when survival is possible - about 24 weeks or so.

Actually im fine w people being naked. No problem.

She has the right to REMOVE the fetus at ANY time. Its wrong to force anybody to provide life support to anybody or anything. Period. In any circumstsnce.

Yet you believe it ok to force people to provide financial life support to others for their whole adult lives.  Surely your bodily autonomy principal means no one can take what your body creates to provide any support to anybody or anything.  Period.  In any circumstance.   Just stands to reason.

You are a major idiot to compare removing a fetus from body(or not) to paying taxes. Dumbest comparison ever.
