Rumor has it that Ono was offered the match but PSU coaches turned it down.  Not sure, but makes sense.

Also I wonder if the  possibility of ongoing eligibility litigation involving Ono could prevent him from participating in the meet?

Interesting.  Would have been cool to see.  I like TK, well deserved

I think that's a very real thing. Apparently his clock won't start until the litigation is resolved, so, there's speculation he may be in RS this year.

Any reason we wouldn't? That's the premier match, imo...

Agreed, I hope it happens since I bought tickets for the dual. However, I would be surprised to see them wrestle twice in a 3 week span.

I believe they have already wrestled 4x, and then to do a potential 6th time that "doesn't count?"

I feel like at least one could potentially pull the plug on the dual or the all-star.

Wouldn’t even blame them either.  Even though I want to see it.  Wrestling either of them would be painful that close together

Bo returns from Kazakhstan less than a week from the dual and Stanich could just decide he doesn't need to wrestle him twice in a month

I agree with you HokieDave.  Knowing Bo a little or even casual observers can see, he definitely will want to go up against #1 right out of the shoot.  The best option might, and I mean 'might' be to skip the dual and rest some after 3 worlds, US open, final x, summer, etc.  He is known to be anytime, anyplace, anywhere MG mindset.  Getting Luke to agree to the AS is awesome and I would think that means they likely won't go in the dual.  This young man may wrestle #1 twice in a month, who knows, but my guess is his debut will be in Cassell on Nov 19.
