Ray Lewis in negotiations to compete for RAF

I'd pay to watch Antonio Garay wrestle Ray Lewis.

Reminds me of celebrity boxing matches. Is it going to bring eyes to the event? Maybe. Is it going to bring eyes to Free, Greco, Folk? *soft shrug, with a bit of an eye roll. Maybe a few high school football players wrestle because of Ray Lewis. Oh wait, up coming high school football players probably don't even know who he is? And while you might scoff at that comment, I have been a teacher and coach at the high school level for over 30 years.

RAF has already talked about doing Greco matches, and they hold Folkstyle youth tournaments on national TV every month

I thought Vinatieri lost to Lincoln Mac?  Did he win at some other point?

Maybe my google fu is failing me but I'm not seeing any info about Vinateri having state level success at wrestling. Only a blurb that he wrestled in high school. Anyone know more details about it?

That definitely could have been something I had in my head and was wrong; I've never claimed to be intelligent

Well seems like IaW heard something similar to maybe there's some truth to it.

THere was an anecdote going around during his career, where he supposedly said kicking field goals wasn't nearly as stressful as wrestling Lincoln MacIlravy- but I never saw the quote officially attributed to him outside of wrestling message boards.
