Peterson recommends reading Gulag Archipelago to get a perspective.  I wonder how many schools anywhere assign that?

Funny, watching a guy on tv right now, talking about Frederick Douglass and Karl Marx who were born the same year, saying that Douglass knew of Marx and his plan, and totally rejected it saying he had just escaped one form of slavery, why would he want to submit to another?  That’s another failure of our schools and society - they’re not explaining to the kids or anyone else what liberty they have and others don’t.

Educators have no business being political.  Education has no business pushing kids to a political ideology.  Just teach reading writing and arithmetic and move on

And civics.  The concepts (created equal, freedom, liberty, limited government, union of sovereign states, citizenship, etc.) leading to the reason for the structure of our government.

I enjoy America plenty.  Had a nice burger last night with the family and a nice chilaquiles today with the wife.    Saw a high school football game with my son.      Was great. 
 

also the modern liberal ideology is trying to make America worse.  So there is that.
