You stated "thinking it’s a-OK to compare the mayor of NYC to 9/11 terrorists".  The last time you said that it was record repeating on about Kirk.  What is that about Mamdani's wife saying positive about 9/11?

Yes, Kirk did COMPARE Mamdani to 9/11 terrorists, this is a fact.  I never said he “implied he was a terrorist.”   Kirk was very careful with his words, but he said enough that it was obvious he was anti-Muslim.

Actually if you knew “more than 20% of the actual facts” you’d know that being against the IDF is not a partisan issue.    Many young and middle aged Republicans are against them as well.  It’s mostly only old fart Republicans that still support them.

No I’m not saying that they “all” have that opinion, but it is true that the only age bracket of Republicans that pretty consistently support them are old farts (and this board seems to be an accurate representation).

Actually, “war sucks” was kinda where I was going with the comment about the IDF blowing up kids and hospitals (which is true of course).  You’ll notice that I didn’t say the IDF were terrorists.  Many Palestinians probably do though, and thus they might think that what most of the world (including myself) considers to be terrorism on Hamas’s part for example, actually isn’t.   And yes, Hamas is worse than the IDF.  But I do find it interesting that many will excuse almost anything the IDF does, even when it’s a clear war crime (and sometimes even after they admit to it).

But nonetheless, congrats to you all on successfully distracting from this horrible story of anti-Muslim hatred.

I said there’s an anti-Muslim sentiment here because there is.  I haven’t noticed much of an anti-Christian sentiment except for maybe a few comments about it being make believe, and I haven’t seen an anti-Jewish sentiment at all except for maybe @Offthemat calling them “Jooz”
