mspart Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I listened to this the other day and found it was not as great as I remember when I was in college. Some songs were still great, but the album as a whole not so much. I like Comfortably Numb a lot, but I like Hey You more. I love that song. Great tune, great guitar, great lyrics. There are others I like as well, but that is my favorite on the whole album. Thin Ice Mother Goodbye blue sky Another Brick in the Wall - all versions Young Lust Run like .... Those are my favorite tracks. The rest is Roger Waters blather in my opinion. Fun fact - Toni Tenille of The Captain and Tenille sang backup on the The Wall. mspart
WrestlingRasta Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Oh man. Love the Wall. The Final Cut is my favorite Floyd album, a great listen straight through.
Gene Mills Fan Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Young Lust alone!! but add the others.. The Wall Concert experience: puppets. Artistically awesome and guitar. Yeah, just cause Roger Waters is mental don't protest.

D3 for LU Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Myself and some of the guys at work from the first job I was hired after I got out of the Marines, went to see Pink Floyd at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Hempstead Long Island in Feb. '80... The Wall concert in it's entirety. Definitely Awesome. D3 Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
