Man, if Spencer Lee was so vulnerable and gassed you would think the #6 ranked wrestler would be able to take advantage of that!

"Oh no, Spencer only beat his top 10 opponent by 6 and didn't give up any points besides an escape!"

Quite a bit of season left... we'll see how it shakes out.

One possible approach to beating Lee for a top 5 or 10 wrestler.

1. Slow down and stall (if necessary) for the first period. Better to give up stall points (e.g., play the edge) than takedowns or turns.

2. Give up no more than 6 points to Lee in the first (or 8 tops). Coaches and fans should push for arm bars to be ruled as potentially dangerous

3.  Choose top in the second.

4.  Ride Lee very hard.  Tire him as much as you can.

5.  Keep him from scoring a TD if he escapes. Stall if necessary.

6.  Take Lee to the 3rd period.

7.  Wrestle your butt off.  Get a TD or two as Lee tires. Yes, it's possible.

8.  Go for a cradle or another big move (cow catcher; Turk).  Try to win on points or a pin or even going to OT (Has Lee ever been in an OT match?)

Easier said than done.  It helps if you have some length, a good gas tank, and some flexibility to avoid arm bars.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I appreciate you offering your opinion but you offered literally nothing of substance. An absolute nothing of a post.

Here's your post:

Thanks for the insight, GreatWhiteNostradamus.

Ummm.. sounds like you were thanking me for my insight? right? That's how I took it.

If not - then maybe it was a "nothing of a post" by you.

You decide and let us know - that would be good substance.

I'm sorry you don't understand sarcasm. I wish you were smarter. I hope those close to you encourage you to be a continuous learner.
