NCAA/ESPN (or whoever decides the match order) doesn't really understand the whole main-event build. Go look at how a boxing or MMA card is structured.

184 will be wrestled in the warm up room.  No cameras.   No need to subject Americans first exposure to that weight

If only your boy Angelo were there to spice things up with his high flying non-stop attacking style...

He isn’t.   He didn’t win in the semis.  But you claim to be an Iowa fan…. Which you are kit.

with that said They’re all stand around and look statues at 184

Not ending in 141 is a slap in the face to Mendez.  They're doing him dirty like they did to Starocci.  No respect for your elders, I tell ya.

I disagree: They did Vega dirty.

Feels like a pretty good deal for Okie State. Finals will be bookended with a couple of great OSU storylines. ESPN casuals will hop on board.

You know what? Youre right. I was thinking like a old dude who believes in clutch hitters and such. Today -- and Im being totally serious -- 1 win with massive exposure might prove better for recruiting than 2 or 3 with little.
