Trumble is going belt to ass this morning and tonight. I don't care if I picked Focus at multiple points, I was simply being an idiot on the internet.

Lol I still got Trumble over Focus to win it all.

Upsets I'd like to see:

McNeil over Cross

Ayala over Blaze

Spratley over Seymor

Webster over Taylor

The rest can go either way for me.

Is there a new rule that refs cannot call stalling in the last 10 seconds of a match if it would alter the outcome in any way? Must be, because I haven't seen it called in years, no matter how blatant the running away is.

Tough road this morning for Stanford.

I think Valencia can get it done. He will be the fresher guy because he doesn’t cut much, but he has to stay off bottom and find his way to a quick finish TD to not get caught in a scramble.

I hate to say it Caliendo is not a good matchup for Parco. His pace will take its toll. MD or TF probably for Caliendo.

Posada… I don’t know. Probably not great but if he can force some scrambles maybe he catches something.

Should be fun though.

Not the refs at big tens! They had a few crazy calls

Naw brother, Oklahoma through and through. Hard to deny Jax is likely the favorite.
Davino and Blaze just don't have that high-scoring mentality at this point. (but they are phenomenal in tight matches)
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if both Blaze and Davino drop matches to Ayala and Byrd....
Both matches would be tight in any situation ( from dual to pre-season) but with AA status on the line, and a possible trip to the finals. The pressure is immense, and I can see the situation tipping the scales in favor of the elder-statesmen.

No, I dont like anyone at the weight to beat  any combination of, Davino, Blaze, Jax in a row. Hell  throw Seidel in there  and pull one guy out and say like Byrd, Blaze, Seidel, or Ayala, Seidel, Davino. any combination of those 6 names Jax, Davino, Blaze, Byrd, Ayala, Seidel,  I wouldn't favor any of the guys to win 3 in a row, it feels impossible.

After Big 10s, I would have guessed after the top 3... "the field" would be at plus odds.
Picking Byrd specifically, man, I dont know.... he was ranked #1 up until last week, i bet it wouldnt have been as outrageous as you'd think, probably  25:1... maybe less though

Anyways CHEERS!

Based solely on the dual match I would not be surprised to see Seidel take Jax. He was an inch away from winning then.

The Jax bandwagon has a short memory.

Started cooking this hunk of frozen ground beef way too late, sigh, I can't leave the screen for  2 minutes to deal with it  (after this rounds starts) because I'll miss something spectacular obviously........  Don't know wife my wife even went to work today, she should've stayed home to cook and bring be things.... sigh. Go SPRATLEY

Guess I missed those matches - did they call a stall in the last :10 that tied the match or gave a guy the lead in a tied match?

Oh not at all surprising, from their HS days to now, its an effin WAR, however, it's a war the Seidel always loses. Could  he win? Absolutely, but would you say Jax is not the favorite based on anything?

I don't know if the "short memory" thing applies like you think it does. I don't know if you're implying I'm on the bandwagon? I added Seidel into the list of 6 names I think nobody would be favored to beat all 3 in a row.

I was a big proponent of "redshirt Jax this year, having him compete in this abbreviated year (because he was still in HS) is reckless and a waste of his potential... (it lessens his chance of being a 4x'er.....)"....
But, hell, he came out and steamrolled everyone but his arch-rival Seidel..... so I can't argue their decision to send-it....

I'm not sure if the "short-memory" applies though

I feel like I remember Stearns vs Deanna from back in the Shultz era, I'd be 100% lying if I told you I knew how many times he AA'd, but I'm 92% sure he as a plaque on the wall in the OU wrestling room.

What about this man? OU legends?

We both wrestled in the AAU Nationals in St. Louis. We both made it to the finals. I took him down 2to 0 in the first. He reversed me in the 2nd .Tied 2 to 2. I took down in the 3rd but wasn't able to escape. Overtime.
