  1. Past hour
  2. Someone else posted this I think but it fits : you can say what you want but networks don’t have to pay you to say it …. Yep he got that right.
  3. Ya I saw a report about this. Even that abc and or Disney (someone in management) wanted him to apologize. He refused. They also saw some copy of his next monologue where they thought he was going to double down on it …. Or something like that.
  4. I would disagree but what if the government is one of: Forms of government are categorized by who holds power and the extent of that power, including monarchies (a king or queen rules), oligarchies (a small group rules), and dictatorships/authoritarian/totalitarian regimes (one person or a small group holds absolute power). Other systems include theocracies (religious rule) and anarchy (no government).
  5. Islamists are more conservative than Christian conservatives. Omg. Keep the women at home and covered, etc.
  6. Team: Japan FS: A lot of there stars were out and they still easily grabbed third place. Iran GR: What a beatdown. Double or almost double the points of number 2? They can win two more golds tomorrow and sweep all the weights 82kg and north. Individuals FS: Han was a surprise gold. I'll throw Haru and Baran some bones for beating people beating a heavy favorite and getting an all time best result in your 30s. Individuals Greco: Lolua and Amoyan. Lolua won a field that included a rising prodigy and a dominant champion. Amoyan upset the olympic champ who made it to the finals. For non golds, I think Kyrl and Elias took the biggest scalps while medaling. I think the candidates for biggest under performers are a stronger bunch, but that's not what the thread is about.
  7. Your boss has been telling you repeatedly you’re alienating the majority of the market. We are losing patrons tone it down. Ok that was the last straw. I’m sure before the last straw there were some choice words to his employers about how much he respected their business decision.

  11. I completely agree with what you said. Aside from Russia there isn't really any other country with both the resources, interest and population size to compete with Iran across a 10 weight world championships. Olympics definitely but not worlds. It would be nice if the US could develop some high quality greco guys to make the competition more competitive. Raney looks really promising and I think he could fill out to be a solid 60kg or 67kg guy in the future with the right coaching. Maybe he could come to Iran and we send some of our light weights to the US to train FS.
  12. I felt like before the tournament we could send 5 guys to the finals (Esmaeili, Farokhi, Mohmedi, Saravi and Mirzazadeh). The over performance was more so I think at 55 and 63kg. Ahmadi beating Azizli and Keshtkar teching Muradov were completely out of nowhere results. Ahmadi is good but I didn't think he was that good shame he lost his finals match to another incredibly talented wrestler. 60 and 77 performed more or less to how I thought it would turn out in terms of not medalling. Its more a combination of Azerbaijan doing incredibly poorly and other heavy hitters losing early (Alexanyan, Luis Orta Sanchez etc).
  13. I’d be down to cut Greco completely if it meant more participation in the freestyle ranking series.
  14. Voting is political by that definition.
  15. By that definition I dont think very many people are "political." Certainly whether they vote or not has little meaning.
  16. political adjective po·lit·i·cal pə-ˈli-ti-kəl 1 a : of or relating to government, a government, or the conduct of government b : of, relating to, or concerned with the making as distinguished from the administration of governmental policy
  17. Are you saying a guy on a message board just made stuff up and then doubled down when asked?
  18. Well if they were busy or forgot, that would also suggest they probably aren’t very political
  19. So far, only Raney (7th place) and Bey (10th) have scored for us.
  20. Last man standing for us is Payton Jacobson at 87kg. He'll be in the repechage tomorrow.
  21. Somehow your turned thoughts on these 8 pro censorship humans? into a random personal attack about how children think without answering your thoughts on any of the 8 humans. Were I come from that is called that changing the subject boss.
  22. You say things that make no sense. I didn't change the subject. You asked a question and I answered the question. That is the opposite of changing the subject. I do not know why I waste my time answering your queations becasue your responses are always nonsensical, underling.
  23. Or maybe they didn't like any of the candidates, maybe they were busy, maybe they forgot or maybe they just plain didn't vote?
  24. The left is crying much more boss. I notice every time we show a video of someone on the left being pro censorship or actually censoring folks during covid y’all change the subject. Good ol fashioned whataboutism
  25. Just heard that he was back in Montana -- coaching high school and starting a wrestling club. Sounds like he's aiming to build up Montana wrestling
  26. Wouldn’t you say there’s a good chance that someone that doesn’t vote probably isn’t political? It’s possible Kirk’s opinions on gay/trans folks may have been the motive. Probably debatable whether that would be considered “politically motivated.”
