Penn State with 8-9 NCAA Champs & 0ver 200 points next year?
BruceyB replied to SaltMerchant's topic in College Wrestling
You just actually bolstered my argument. PSU underperformed, but because their floor was so high, they still set the scoring record. If you ran this tournament through a simulation 10 times, how many other times do you think Lilledahl, Bartlett, SVN, Kasak, and Haines all fail to make the finals? I'd bet they all finish no lower than third 10/10 times. -
I'm sure he'll be healed in 6 months but he had a previous shoulder injury that sidelined him for a while and all that time away builds up. If you're not moving forward, you're moving backward as they say. Some think Tagen can manage his weight better and be effective at 141 but I don't buy it. I think the weight suck is holding him back especially on offense

USA struggles at 65kg.. are we alone?
boconnell replied to BruceyB's topic in International Wrestling
It's a small sample size. One great wrestler in a weight or one fewer great wrestler in a weight completely changes analysis like this. If JB is a couple of inches shorter we are asking why the USA is so great at 65 KG. It's too small of a sample size to reach some of the conclusions we are trying to reach. -
Yah. No winger would ever bang a hot Chinese woman because there's a chance she could be a spy. Lmao.

Bastida AA'd once in 2022. He has all of the talent, but until he makes it through a season and actually performs in March, I'm not putting any faith in Bastida. Not to mention, if you actually read what I said, "I think Kueter should be about as big a favorite as anyone..." I did not say he was the biggest favorite, but that I would consider him in the mix with Bastida, Ghadiali, and Trumble. Kueter made huge strides in his first full year of competition and is likely on a higher trajectory of improvement than these guys going on into their 5th and 6th years of college. -
Big bad Biden been getting $$$ for his family and hunter for a long time. This is meet the press interview with j Biden in 2008 after getting his son a 6 figure job at mbna…. Also j Biden taking ok hundreds of thousands of dollars from the same company while helping get a bill passed for them. he wasn’t senile yet in 2008 was he? https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP86cN1eq/

Most overtly religious NCAA wrestler?
HokieDave87 replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
Not everybody. I'm fine if you want to thank God for helping you, it makes sense, wrestling is a tough sport and if you believe in a higher power that can hep you through the tough times. However, nobody is getting through those tough times without great coaches, mentors, partners, trainers, doctors, dieticians, etc. I have no problem with a guy like Wyatt who wears a Jesus Trained shirt, praises God but also recognizes his coaches and teammates at both Air Force and Ok State. I want a look into the sport as a whole not just one part. Obviously faith is important to these guys but let's be real - Jesus doesn't care who wins but the guys in your corner damn sure do. -

I literally gave one example and now I am living rent free inside your head. I can give others just like the other poster did. How about Kyle Snyder’s video with his pants down last week while being a married man. You will just disregard anything that doesn’t fit your agenda. Bible thumpers literally act the same as overly emotional WOKE white feminists. If someone doesn’t agree with your mind control, you gaslight them. -
I'd be curious what his injury could be that would effect him for more than 6 months. But regardless of what happens, I think they're going to have an AA at 141.

Genuine question because wrestlestat doesn't go to youth level - has Hidlay ever beat Brooks? I know of the Fargo finals tech but that's it. Brooks is a terminator and not calling apples to apples but we have seen quality guys blocked by an elite domestic opponent before (JB vs Dake, Taylor, Howe, Nolf, Imar, etc)

Those are two different time frames. Yields are basically unchanged since the Moody's downgrade. -

3 years ago I liked that. I would take Spidle -
I don't know enough about the specific case of Wesley but have heard others talk about it. In my experience at work, we have sniffed out several people who greatly embellished on their resume over the year, but I'm sure that even more people got stuff by us without us having the information to verify. Two instances I can best remember were: 1) Representing Harvard Extension School as Harvard University and speaking about it as if they had been accepted to the university 2) Person who had done an internship delivering coffees to the local news station wrote "Emmy Award Winner" on her resume because that news station ended up winning a local news emmy award

Either the loser of the 149 battle go down, or have Vega start. I would say Cael Hughes, but there is a rumor he is hurt, so he might not be an option.

Credit for what though? His best two wins were against guys who went a combined 1-4 at NCAAs and he lost to two R12 guys. I expect him to improve a lot and he has a real shot to AA, but I don't see a reason to credit him with contender status. -
Well he wasn’t selected to represent Cabo Verde at the Olympics, for starters

I’d guess Cannon is the one who ends up in MN, and at 133. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
What do you want to see happen at 141?
