  1. Past hour
  2. Welsh took more attempts at leg attacks than I've ever seen from him. Seems like the Penn State room is helping him. Bassett looks really, really sloppy. He's trying to dominate instead of win. Got tossed to his back in an early match and did some things in the semis that would have cost him if his opponent was even half decent. Farmer looked like he didn't care for much of the Venezuela match but maybe he figured out he already advanced as long as he wasn't teched, pinned or shut out. It was amazing that one couldn't switch to Mat B but it appears all the finals are on Mat A at 5pm eastern. Some of the Paraguay wrestlers really looked like they couldn't have won against U17 girls.
  3. That's it for the day and that's it for the women. USA only gets 2 medals this week. D3
  4. What a crying shame. D3
  5. 4 pointer AGAIN for Kostsenich... 11-10 to the Russian D3
  6. That guy looked older than Bo Bassett
  7. 4 pointer for Kostsenich makes it 10-6... pucker factor time. D3
  8. 4 point exposure Cooper to 2points exposure for KOSTSENICH... 10-2 Cooper We're at the break. D3
  9. What are you? An uniformed 19 year old?
  10. It was on Howard stern of all shows.
  11. Another arm spin for a TD by Cooper... 6-0 D3
  12. Pus a 2pt exposure to make it 4-0 Cooper. D3
  13. Arm spin for a TD by Cooper... D3
  14. I mean, I think he has a realistic shot of beating those guy. I don't think his chances of beating TWO when you add...Taylor who's bigger, Feldman, Kueter with his length, that's more my issue. But maybe I'm wrong. I'd just have him more in the Rd12-AA range than a guy who loses in the Semi's or Wrestle's back to the Consolation Semis.
  15. It was Totally a schtick session similar to a stand up act, that's some heavy duty extrapolation.
  16. Looks like Robinson will not be wrestling in the 3-5 match... WW - 72 kg Final 3-5 648 (KGZ) Kaiyrkul SHARSHEBAEVA (7) (USA) Jasmine Dolores ROBINSON (4) - INJURED D3
  17. Bronze medal match on Mat A... WW - 53 kg Final 3-5 647 (UWW) Kseniya KOSTSENICH (4) (USA) Abigale Rose COOPER (8) Up next. D3
  18. Ogawa takes the gold at 8-3... Audrey Jimenez going the "Fix" route again, for the silver. USA challenge is moot... making the final score 9-3. (1st points given up by Ogawa in this tournament.) D3
  19. Didn’t read a ton of it but the wsj felt compelled to comment on the controversy.
  20. Exposure Ogawa off an Jimenez shot. D3

  22. Their A team is the favourite against the USA from 57 - 74. Of course they will never have the depth of the countries that actually somewhat care about wrestling. P4P they may have the best program, though.
  23. Audrey got out but is down 4-2 at the break. D3
  24. Well the best wrestling country implies all of its people to me. Is Japan the best wrestling country in the world because they won senior worlds one year? We have an easy way to quantify it from U16 on up since there’s a world championship held at those levels.
  25. TD Ogawa... plus exposure... up 4-2 D3
