Why Does the U.S. Support Israel?
uncle bernard replied to Undefeated's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Muslim antisemitism - which is a problem - is a mostly modern phenomena, largely as a result of the conflict over Palestine. Historically, Muslims treated Jews MUCH BETTER than European Christians. These prejudices are significantly impacted by historical context. They can change. A peaceful and equitable solution in Israel is the most promising way to undo these harmful prejudices. -
A lot of reverse tanking today.

Give them YOUR property then.

Showed up? They had no choice. Wow. Just wow.

They wouldn’t control any of that after the elections.

Buddy, we've done it countless times. Have you ever read a book? You act like Jews in a one state solution would be immediately powerless. The IDF would still exist. They would still control the majority of wealth in the region. They would still have significant representation in government, possibly even a majority of elected representatives. The major difference is that the country wouldn't discriminate against one ethnicity BY LAW. This may shock you, but Arabs and Jews lived in relative peace in Palestine for a long time before Israel showed up. Palestinians literally took refugees from the Holocaust into their homes (at the same time our government did not let them enter the country). -

Tanner Peake (Puerto Rico) via Davidson takes on Tyler Tracy (Jamaica) via NC State. Tracy with a push out then TD. Peake injured on the edge. Tracy with a TD and lace up 7-0 at the break Peake with single to step out then a mystery point. Tracy with TD up 9-2 Peake with shuck TD it ends 9-4. First match where both looked like they knew what they were doing and wanted to be there.

No doubt about it. He was in some absolute meat grinder brackets before winning it all. His toughness has never been in question. I guess what I was getting at was the leap he made without a redshirt in that true freshman year he AA'd. Knew he was good, but to be considered a title contender off the bat? Admittedly I underestimated him there; no more.

Please tell us how the world is going to step in and overturn an election.

It’s based on the fact that their ethnoreligion was TO BE EXTERMINATED from earth. By the Nazis and now by Muslim terrorists

It BY DEFINITION would not. This boogeyman scenario that if the Palestinians were allowed to vote, they would ethnically cleanse the Jews from Israel is nothing more than projection from the point of view of the oppressor, Israel, because that's what they've been trying to do. In reality, it could never, ever happen. The entire Western world would intervene to prevent retribution against Israelis in that scenario. It's nothing more than a scare tactic to justify the unjustifiable position that one group of people doesn't deserve equal rights based on their ethnicity. -
Ya I’ll hand it over at the exact same moment you take in a dozen or so unlawful immigrants and support them on your own.

Paraguay's HWT looked like he'd never seen a wrestling match before. Looked confused then pinned in 12 seconds.

The MSM and its hatred for Trump cause them to lie for their agenda. You just so choose to ignore it.

I think the funding opportunities were the determining factor in the last "golden age". Living the Dream fund, RTCs, the development of different media coverage making sponsorships and youth camps more profitable - All things that made the business end possible for our professional athletes. We can't know how well some of our guys would have done after their single Olympic cycle post college. I'm just happy to be decades past reading about it in a printed magazine. The future sure looks bright! It'll be interesting to see how the next generation navigates all the new opportunities. I'm aware of being old fashioned when it comes to loyalty. I could make an argument correlating loyalty to success, but I'm not invested in defending it. There is something to be said of the college years, though. JB was loyal to Nebraska and Manning. DT to PSU and Cael. Dake to Cornell and Snyder to tOSU, at least for those formative years. And, when those guys did move around, it didn't always correlate to more success, although that could have been more an issue of age - Perhaps with the exception of Dake who...well, never mind. Anyway, I'm curious to see how the young guys navigate these formative years in the age of NIL. I'll never argue against free markets....But, I have experience with 20yr-olds and their cognitive development that makes me cautious about seeing them chase money around. I hope they can develop into men that win Senior titles, and I suspect that it will depend on their investment in the programs they end up in.

If we need to hand over land to somebody based solely upon their ethnoreligion, we should do it here. Including your property. Hand it over to them.

But it’s not dumb when he calls everyone a nazi or fascist??? Got it.

Equal rights under One state would eliminate the Jewish people from being in Israel. But you already know that and don’t care.

Will the Penn State 25-26 and 26-27 teams be the BEST ever?
scourge165 replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
The two sports aren't really all that similar. Baseball is disproportionately impacted by luck. There's a reason why the last ~50 years you've pretty much only seen Iowa, Okie State, Penn State, Iowa State AZ St, a year of Minny, OSU in there and...that's going back to Bobby Kennedy's assassination. Lets take the best Wrestler on Penn State and the best player on the Yankees(and best RHH Hitter arguably ever). What are the chances Mesenbrink is perfectly healthy and just terrible in the post-season or at least about 75% of what he is in the regular season? They're pretty low, right? Yet with Judge... they're not so low. It's been the last 5 post-seasons. So... I get what you're saying, things can change, but the best team ALMOST always wins in Wrestling. The Best team in Baseball... the most TALENTED team, most dominant team... they usually don't win. You can hit a ball 110 MPH off the bat and it gets caught or you can hit a ball 19 MPH off the bat like the '01 World Series when Luis Gonzalez singled on a blooper to CF off the greatest closer of all-time. Baseball dynasties are incredibly rare. Wrestling Dynasties are not. Also, Wrestling is not really a team game. It's an individual sport in which you just add up all the individual scores. So... not the best analogy. -

Outlawing any actions that are specific to the flag but not non-u.s. flags is unconstitutional.
