  1. Past hour
  2. It's been that way for a LONG time, speaking as someone who grew up in the Chicago suburbs. Iowa is the school for Chicagoland kids who didn't get into Illinois, and Marquette is for Chicagoland kids who didn't get into Notre Dame.
  3. Well, that article is SOOOOO dang long. It's Trump's fault, for having so many whack job conspiracy theories
  4. They can waste their money and put me on a list if they want. I don't really care because they'll quickly find out that I don't belong to any extremist groups and have never threatened to actually do anything. Also, zero criminal record. Not even a speeding ticket. Also, an exemplary military record (for it being 3 years enlisted + army reserve/nat guard). I simply empathize with those that have witnessed their entire families being slaughtered by the barbarians of Israel. So, any investigation of me will go nowhere VERY quickly. Not to mention that I have way too much to lose.
  5. They will be great Hawks.
  6. Right wing extremist that voted for democrats in the past and maybe will again when the party becomes moderate and rational again. Below is what I'm talking about. This shows a normal post, followed by a copy/paste from the internet that is hard to consume. ------------
  7. I believe it’s been noted that you do not have to go to Ohio state to play school. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. And yet your intern failed you again: best known for his insistence on the fall as the ultimate goal of amateur wrestling
  9. Okay, let's go one by one, starting at the top. I will kick us off and await your rebuttal that this is proven false. Border Security Concerns (2019–2022) Claims of uncontrolled borders were labeled xenophobic, but 2022 data showed record crossings, prompting policy shifts. https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/cbp-enforcement-statistics
  10. Not if you are Terrelle Pryor.
  11. From the rules the year the award was created: Pin falls only shall count. And pin falls it shall be.
  12. ... easy peazy ... just see MP and get on the bus ... Seriously though knew kids from Illinois who couldn't get into University of Illinois would go with Iowa or Ohio St and get out of state tuition waved.
  13. NCAA and plaintiffs' attorneys are pushing back on the idea of exempting current athletes from roster caps. Teams have already budgeted for 2025-26, and many athletes in non-revenue sports have already made plans for new teams/schools for the new season. I'm guessing the judge goes along with the latest agreement between the attorneys. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/44679918/roster-limit-changes-not-offered-latest-filing-ncaa-lawsuit-settlement
  14. Did it. So, the choices that people have are to a) believe your (coming from a right-wing extremist) cherry-picked examples as the overall, universal trend, or they can read an actual scientific paper from a scientific study.
  15. What do you think about Trump not divesting from his private businesses like every other president? Is maintaining a huge private business, which isn't subject to the same type of scrutiny as a government agency, not a way to reduce transparency? Do we know that he wasn't accepting bribes through investments in his business? For example, he does a ton of private business with the Gulf States, while controlling US Public Policy towards them. Is that accountable and transparent?
  16. is ohio state hard to get into?
  17. Will @red viking please edit/hide/repost his post to be readable? The format and size is a burden to consume.
  18. So rumblings are Chittum is having admissions issues? No clue what that means but the longer this drags the worse it is for the Buckeyes. Also rumors Waters is getting feelers again for other schools.
  19. The final senior Big Board for the Class of 2025 was released yesterday by Willie Saylor at MatScouts. The Big Board culminates years of evaluation by Willie and will be the unofficial ranking that these wrestlers will carry with them as they enter college. Earlier today, Willie released an article breaking down which schools signed the most Big Boarders, the most in the top 10 and top 25, and more. Check those out, there’s plenty of good information in that article. We’ve decided to break all of the 250 wrestlers on the Big Board down via college they’ve signed with or committed to. The wrestlers are listed according to Big Board ranking and with their projected collegiate weight. 20. Abstract The idea that U.S. conservatives are uniquely likely to hold misperceptions is widespread but has not been systematically assessed. Research has focused on beliefs about narrow sets of claims never intended to capture the richness of the political information environment. Furthermore, factors contributing to this performance gap remain unclear. We generated an unique longitudinal dataset combining social media engagement data and a 12-wave panel study of Americans’ political knowledge about high-profile news over 6 months. Results confirm that conservatives have lower sensitivity than liberals, performing worse at distinguishing truths and falsehoods. This is partially explained by the fact that the most widely shared falsehoods tend to promote conservative positions, while corresponding truths typically favor liberals. The problem is exacerbated by liberals’ tendency to experience bigger improvements in sensitivity than conservatives as the proportion of partisan news increases. These results underscore the importance of reducing the supply of right-leaning misinformation.
