  1. Past hour
  2. He didn’t know how. Fairly simple to understand
  3. But at least you seem to acknowledge that the “9-0 in our favor” statement was a lie, @Offthemat. Kudos
  4. Not what I was responding to was it? Has any amendment or court decision ever been subjected to further interpretation by the Court?
  5. Not what he said, nor what the constitution says.
  6. Yeah but when he tried to wrestle, it's different than college because you can't do the same things, owing to the fact people can punch and knee you. So the way you wrestle has to change. I don't think he's adapted that fully yet.
  7. For sure street fight is different to wrestling. If you want to be good at street fights learn to be good at street fights. If you want to be an athlete then wrestling is a good option. One has good life options other is a dead end.
  8. Can you imagine anything more ridiculous than a court telling the President he should allow an illegal alien who has an order of removal to be facilitated to re-enter the country so he can be deported, again?
  9. Today
  10. Cole wrestled 97 KG last MFS season did he not? Being 6lbs heavier than that is not that impressive. Said he wants to be 235-240 before next season? Did he have a botched drop to 97 KG?
  11. Bugger - wrong thread.
  12. That was only part of the ruling, he ignored the part that ruled against them
  13. In high school wrestling (depending on the state), you can get pretty far with good physical conditioning and basic technique. Not so much in college (even D2 or D3), where pretty much everyone has good physical conditioning. I don’t know much about the other martial arts and I haven’t been in a real fight since I was probably 10, so I’m definitely no expert on which is the best, but I’d say wrestling definitely gives you an advantage in a fight over having no martial arts experience, but something where you learn submissions might be a little better. Or of course boxing.
  14. Hasn’t a criticism of him been that he hasn’t really used his wrestling much?
  15. No, he’s saying that he knows right from wrong; that he’s trying to do what’s right and he relies on his lawyers to determine constitutionality, but while judges don’t agree on what’s constitutional, he can’t say for sure. TDS has you making way more of this than is there.
  16. I think this taught him wrestling in MMA is very different from college or freestyle.
  17. You're arguing something totally different. This isn't about whether what Trump is doing is constitutionally correct or not. This is about one of the basic functions of the job. Like one that is explicitly mentioned in the actual oath of office. And he publicly said he doesn't know if that's what he's supposed to do? This isn't being a bad president, this is being a bad junior high student. It's like going to school and when your parents ask you if you're supposed to do homework, saying you don't know.
  18. Several times now a district judge has deemed actions by the Trump administration to be unconstitutional, only to be overturned by a higher court. The lower court would have been said to say that Trump was acting unconstitutionally (not upholding the constitution) while the higher court would be said to say that he was upholding the constitution. If you need me to complicate it more, just say the word.
  19. That doesn't make sense. It's literally in the oath of office. There's no Supreme Court decision that disagrees with what is in the oath of office. "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." Nothing that needs to be litigated or decided there. Either you uphold the constitution or you don't.
  20. Ross is going to be a problem when he's ~245-260. If he can put that weight on....and he looks like he should be able to, he's different than the rest of these guys IMO.
  21. Oh man... if only he'd fought a chimp. Just single leg, dump, take the back, choke. Easy. They can't think like Bo does(not certain that favors Bo though if I'm being honest). Conversely, it could have been a very small Gorilla. Not a 600 LB Gorilla, but a 200LB Gorilla. So basically a 1/3rd size Gorilla. If 3 Bo's could beat 1 Gorilla, then 1 Bo should be able to beat 1 midget Gorilla, right?
  22. It doesn't look like NLWC has submitted any entries yet. They do like to wait until the end.
  23. The unmitigated gall to demand that Iowa fans have to root for Bo Nickal in the UFC, lol. I don't personally care, I only check in on MMA these days when a high level wrestler is going, but Bo spends a lot of time, up into the most recent wrestling season, talking sh!t about the Iowa program. I wasn't rooting for him to lose (or win for that matter) but if a bunch of Iowa fans rooted against him...well he earned that. And apparently he's running a "I'm better than you" heel persona, which has (from my reading of the Tweets last night) not endeared him to the pure MMA fans, either.
