  1. Past hour
  2. this is great stuff thank you
  3. With Sujeet,I don’t put a whole lot of stock into the Yianni win as Yianni had a bacteria infection in his leg and went to that tournament not even haven practiced in months. But doesn’t matter win is a win not to mention plenty of other evidence of how tough this guy is. He will be a real tough out at 65kg. He is very big for the weight. Woods pulled off a great win over him 7-5 senior worlds to get into the bronze medal match. Sujeet gave Amouzad by far his toughest match only losing to him by a point. He only lost to Zain at the last chance last year by criteria.
  4. Today
  5. That is at the very least a five or even a sixhead
  6. Knox is not leaving Cornell. He along with the rest of the 2025 class (8 top 60 Big boarders (Knox, Jude Correa, Eli Diakomahalis, Alessio Perentin, The Cortez Bros, Rocco Dellagatta, Adrien DeJesus) are all greyshirting
  7. Was hoping for actual conversation from Big Broad... nope. Just dumber, the cycle continues.
  8. Look forward to more of that. Your constant whining doesn't invite participation. It repels it. But you be you.
  9. It isn't about snowplows. It's about you being sick and disgusting. Keep it to yourself, weirdo.
  10. Based on the Intermat numbers (as I ran them), even moving Cannon to #1 overall at 133 wouldn't be enough to make them a top-four seed. I went 15-0 at each weight class (anybody unranked was treated as tied with every other unranked wrestler, so as not to make an assumption on who numbers 34, 35, 36, etc. were), and here's what I came up with, using Intermat's rankings: 1. Nebraska, 114 2. Iowa, 112 3. Ohio State, 109 4. Oklahoma State, 89.5 5. NC State, 85.5 6. Michigan, 79.5 7. Virginia Tech, 79 8. Minnesota, 74 9. Illinois, 73.5 10. Lehigh, 69.5 11. Missouri, 67.5 12. Cornell, 63 13. Northern Iowa, 62 14. Little Rock, 50.5 15. Wyoming, 42 16. Arizona State, 29.5 And, for equal time, here's Flo's results, doing the same thing: 1. Nebraska, 112 2. Ohio State, 108 3. Iowa, 104.5 4. NC State, 90 5. Oklahoma State, 89 6. Virginia Tech, 84 7. Lehigh, 76.5 8. Illinois, 73.5 9. Michigan, 71.5 10. Minnesota, 70 11. Missouri, 67 12. Northern Iowa, 63.5 13. Cornell, 62 14. Little Rock, 54 15. Wyoming, 45 16. Arizona State, 29.5
  11. SDSU is very deep at 197, with also Morgan and maybe Wadsen growing into it.
  12. Some random on the internet saying he got in trouble for fighting, but I have my doubts. Why would a 5'3" 125 pounder want to be out fighting people?
  13. Is Knox leaving Cornell or just sitting out(grey shirting) this year?
  14. Logan Swenson 133 SDSU Thomas Dineen 197 SDSU
  15. in freestyle he has, but remember, this is folkstall. huge difference.
  16. They all have 2X AA Chris Cannon either NR or like #30, because he tried wrestling injured up a weight last year, and it didn't work out. If he is remotely healthy, he deserves at least a teen ranking.
  17. I was going based on this year's lineups with Intermat and Flo rankings. Intermat's rankings would have Nebraska-Iowa-Ohio State-Oklahoma State, Flo's would have Nebraska-Ohio State-Iowa-NC State.
  18. He has beaten multiple NCAA AA's during his high school career but won't be able to when he is more mature and training full time in a college room. Got it..
  19. To be fair Iowa called Torres after he had signed his NLI and paid more money than we were willing to (our other 165 recruit Weader had recently tech'd him so was no big deal).....good thing we saved that cash for Bo & Melvin.
  20. There are a number of things I would argue with in this post, and one of them is that several of the wrestlers on your projected Iowa roster either have stock that has gone significantly down from when they graduated high school, or their expectation was never to be "the guy" at a school like Iowa. But more importantly you are missing the main point. Iowa, one of the biggest names and historied programs in NCAA wrestling, is being passed up in recruiting by Virginia Tech who wasn't even a regular top 10 program when Tom Brands took over the Iowa program. VTech has averaged 49.25 points since 2011 and Iowa has averaged 86.7. I'd love for anyone to explain to me how a program that outperforms Virginia Tech year after year is now having a harder time with recruiting. I think that is all you need to know about the message and culture the Brands are selling and how these high school recruits are receiving it.
  21. He went 1-1 against NCAA finalists this summer, give the VT S&C staff more than a few days before writing him off
  22. Burton will be levels better then Gabe Arnold , this kid just keeps getting better and better
  23. ahh ... that's governors. But mayors might be one and two.
  24. I keep hearing the wokesters saying elections have consequences. Yep. Chicago deserves this clown show. They deserve the fat boy in Illinois as gov too. Enjoy
  25. Virginia Tech is ahead of them, but it's not by that much. Consider these potential 2027-28 Lineups for Virginia Tech and Iowa without any transfers. Virginia tech 125: Dickman #16 (2026) 133: Seidel #10 (2025)/Campbell #49 (2024) 141: Gorman #57 (2025)/Seidel #10 (2025) 149: Bassett #1 (2026) 157: Gaj #24 (2025) 165: Church #29 (2023)/Miller #1 (2027) 174: Burton #14 (2025)/Miller #1 (2027) 184: Wright #10 (2024)/Miller #1 (2027) 197: Sasso #26 (2023) 285: Mullen #11 (2023) Iowa 125: DeLuca #9 (2025) 133: Peterson #52 (2023) 141: Block #22 (2023) 149: Voinovich #99 (2024) 157: Estrada #48 (2024) 165: Torres #69 (2025) 174: Arnold #5 (2023) 184: Ferrari #2 (2024) 197: Luddington #15 (2025) 285: Keuter #2 (2023)/Mocco #15 (2026) That's a pretty close dual. Iowa could be favoured in the 4 heaviest weights in addition to 125. They could potentially also get a win at either 133/141 or 157. It's possible for Iowa to win this. It could even be a blowout Iowa win depending on how these guys develop over the next 2 years. Compare that Iowa lineup with the Nebraska team that took 2nd at 2025 NCAAs. Potentially more talent out of high school and without the benefit of a transfer and 3 guys that are 6-7 years out of HS. 125: Smith Unranked (2019) Transfer 133: Van Dee #93 (2022) 141: Hardy #9 (2018) 149: Lovett #16 (2019) 157: Taylor #30 (2022) 165: Minto Unranked (2023) 174: Pinto #11 (2021) 184: Allred #17 (2020) 197: McDanel #37 (2023) 285: Andrews #36 (2022)
