  1. Past hour
  2. Christian Carroll Nick Feldman Lucas Davison Tony Cassioppi (prob retired) I'm pretty sure these guys all have UWW hardware, too.
  3. Keuter Mullen Trumble Gable Mason Wyatt Hopke greg (if Aaron goes 97 maybe snyder?) Its a shame other than Gable and maybe Mason and Wyatt that none of these guys seem to really feel like established senior level threats.
  4. I think heavyweight might have the most guys with age group medals? Unfortunately very few of them appear to be entered,
  5. potential fields 65kg: Forrest(Cadet silver),Blaze(cadet gold u20 bronze),Bassett(cadet gold u20 bronze),Valencia,Mendez(u20 silver),Vega,Hardy(u23 bronze),Stanich,Bartlett (u20 bronze) 74kg: Carr(cadet bronze u20 gold),MM(u20 gold and silver),Duke(u20 bronze),Lockett (cadet gold and junior silver),Shapiro(cadet and junior gold),Kasak feels like we could be approaching Russia levels of depth at those two weights where we have 4-5 guys that could medal at each weight.
  6. I asked a simple question about Ono's eligibility. A buffoon commented that he thinks Ono has only one year because he is afraid of being deported to the El Salvador Supermax. I responded that I do not expect this to happen because I don't forsee him being involved in protests. (I guess I should have mentioned violent protests, but that was a mistake on my part) This turned into a discussion of non-citizens and constitutional rights. I'm sorry that I am hurting so many feelings by informing many of you that no such rights were written into the constitution. Just a fact. The current court interpretation backs these rights being extended to non-citizens, but this could change (just like Plessy v Ferguson and Roe v Wade). In fact a federal judge just ruled that the 5th amendment does not apply to non-citizens. I have never given my opinion on this stuff, just stated facts. Please show me where the 5th and 14th mentions student visas...
  7. The point is that he admitted he doesn't know or care about whether he has to. I just don't think he cares about the job, but more about what being president can do for him.
  8. Bio-DEI. Cows finally getting their equity and inclusion in the woke-world. I woulda thunk cows would get more love from the greenies anyway - they are vegan for goodness sake. And organic, donchaknow.
  9. Different year but also beat Blaze at S32 in 2022
  10. Beat Blaze in that same tournament
  11. Okay, now I know you are not being serious. Great job, trolling. I give B+ on the Cinnabon scale.
  12. You are correct that there is no chance... Pence is more "radical" than Trump with regards to abortion and LGBTQ+. So no chance with the left. No charisma... reeks of establishment... so capped support from the right and independents. No chance with the youth. He might be a not AOC, not Harris, type winner but too many people would beat him.
  13. Today
  14. Try a good 'ol restart, log out of Flo, clear the browser cache/cookies, log back in, try different browsers, wait a day
  15. I don't see wrestling as a martial art. It has similarities for sure. I also would not take anyone's word that says "this is the best for xyz", especially when they are into that sport. There's so many forms of self-defense and they all work together - wrestling can help you fight, BJJ can help you wrestle, etc. However YES conditioning is more important in a folkstyle match where there's sustained physical effort than in a BJJ match where you can lay on the ground. Or in a fight where you can end it with a well placed strike.
  16. You're cracking yourself up...
  17. Storley, ed ruth and phil davis have been in other mma promotions. ruth is done now. also ryan bader was d1 i believe
  18. Will someone explain what the "ballgrab" was? I am new to wrestling and am not familiar with that past part of Freestyle.
  19. 100% And I think for some reason Bo was trying to become a brawler like Gathje and Chandler. Clearly lacks the skill and the heart to do so.
  20. I would say yes. This isn't the wild west anymore like the early days of the UFC where wrestlers dominated because all of the world class strikers were boxers. Now that there is more specialized MMA training with BJJ, striking, boxing, etc. all emphasized.........it becomes much harder for a guy who wrestled his whole life with no striking or BJJ experience to go in and have a lot of success.
  21. To be fair, I don’t believe I’ve seen anyone on here claim he said he doesn’t have to uphold the constitution, but rather his own words of “I don’t know”
  22. I'd argue if Bo spent less time trying to become a striker and more time becoming what Askren was in MMA, grappling and bullying people / hammer fisting tf out of everyone, he'd do better. You keep referring to Askren in the UFC when he was a shell of his former self and obviously out of shape. You keep dismissing his Lawler win.... Tell me how often your arms go limp while you're consciously and actively defending yourself. Quite the defensive move by a veteran like Lawler. This is why people are focusing on the Askren part of your comments.
  23. Supposedly Cael said it, haven't actually heard or seen him say it. Flo also made it seem like he has a redshirt left. Not sure if it would be wise to have him use the shirt, though.
  24. ok so back to the original ? at hand ono = 1 year of eligibility without a political rant has this been confirmed?
  25. Ben's loss to Masvidal was a fluke knee to the face and he was undoubtedly out of shape while in the UFC. He gave it a go for the hell of it and cash money. Hell, he's in better shape now running the academy than he was then.
