I think a lot of Ohio State wrestling fans will be rooting for Lehigh wrestlers with him in their corner. So great to see him coaching and back home too.

Brooks story: True or False?
BruceyB replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
I forget the exact interview, but last year after OTT, he really came off arrogant and disrespectful, especially in regards to DT. His lack of humility and the disrespect for David Taylor rubbed many, including myself, the wrong way. When you supplant an aging legend of the sport, have some class and respect for what they accomplished, at least in the public eye. And I would say that is still a lesser offense than the one mentioned by @BigRedFan. -
Hmm. Mark Ruffalo played the investigative reporter who uncovered the catholic church scandal in Spotlight. Mark Ruffalo played wrestling legend Dave Schultz who was murdered by lunatic John DuPont in Foxcatcher. Mark Ruffalo played the lawyer who uncovered the DuPont chemical spill in Dark Waters. Maybe Mark Ruffalo is who we need to solve this situation. Or maybe we need somebody to step up who can later be portrayed by Mark Ruffalo in a movie?

I think what most people want is an honest and frank conversation about it. I respect a person’s right to having the process play out but there are areas that were glossed over such as the photo incident that Beau reported to coaches. Not touching the anonymous sources allegations is fine but if Beau is making these claims publicly with his reasoning being that nothing was done by the University, you are just perpetrating the cycle by talking about the article but ignoring parts of his story and his point about the coaches looking the entire way. You and Basch basically said you think we are all just out to make the PSU program look bad but that’s ridiculous IMO.

Estrada doesn't want to redshirt.

I bet Willie would have had him at #1

My take is option c.....it was calling it a "nothing burger". At least that's what I get from her post about your Basch show... -
My comment was a get back on track comment before yours was. I just didn’t have to announce mine while patting myself on the back like you did. Yep. ADORABLE. but sorry I’m taken.

And there’s Mr feel’’’’’S responding to something he says he avoids and doesn’t interact with. AGAIN

Brooks story: True or False?
BruceyB replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in International Wrestling
Yeah, let's listen to what is coming out of Aaron Brooks' camp for what happened.. Last year he popped positive and the issue was later fixed. If he didn't learn how diligent he needs to be about what he puts into his body after that, then I don't feel bad for him. Second, how dumb do you have to be to take something that replenishes your hormones without asking if it's legal first? If he had low-t would he just go take some testosterone boosters because the doc said he was low? DHEA was likely the mask for whatever he was actually doing. If it wasn't then he is just an absolute moron for taking hormone boosters without checking if they were legal. He's a cheat, he's dumb, or he's a dumb cheat. If he's dumb enough to take two different "meds" in a calendar year that caused failed USADA tests, then he deserves whatever criticism he gets. I don't know of any legitimate cases of people "accidentally" failing USADA tests. That's just the default excuse. With all of the knowledge given to athletes and with what is at stake with a false test, it would be pretty tough to be that naive. -
I see the problem here.

I agree.

I’m not arguing the right to abortion so much as making point of your stupid arguments for it, like dying on the hill of “forced to provide life support for someone else”. Thats just a dumb statement you keep repeating over and over again. But then again, since you’re on the vibe of what god did and did create….he also created the ability to be dumb, so…

The part of Beau’s statement that caught my eye the most was that he reported everything that he talked about in the article to a PSU coach. It confirms what many of us thought about the lack of action by the staff as at best a really bad look and at worst potentially opening them up to serious consequences. This is from Beau, publicly, firsthand, and will likely warrant scrutiny from the national media before this is all said and done.

He was a #2 seed in 1964. Suspect seeding that year. The #1 seed was 0-2 BBQ.

Incredible higher. Just a great guy, coach, and technician. I think its great for recruiting as well. Lehigh valley has always been incredible in PA but with the emergence of stellar and Faith Christian its only gotten better I think this helps them keep more kids home.

Love to see it for Sammy.

I thought Pyles was pretty fair with 90% of his comments on FRL but the part about Beau missed the mark. I don’t blame Beau from being upset about it.

I'll look later but off the top of my heard, does Uetake make the 3 for 3 wrestle to seed every year club?
-
help me understand. you guys seem to be contradicting yourselves. are we under fire for not talking about it? or are we under fire because we talked about it?
-
lol. stop.

I cannot argue with that. Access is too precious, and it is granted, not paid for.
