A 19year old Junior would not be eligible to compete their senior year in almost every state.
-
Minnow was posting rumors from the MMA board after Tom Ryan publicly said "Amy shared with me that the family is requesting prayers but choosing privacy at this time" - ruining HS kids announcements is one thing, this makes him a genuinely bad human being.
-
Even though I agree with the core of your point, that being 19 as a junior is (a little) odd, I think it's important to be rigorous about where we get our data from. Or else we're no better than the soviets!!/s
-
It’s not weird to hold back one year. It’s a little weird to do it twice, but not all that rare.
-
We don't care. You care. You care sooooo very much. Some might say obsess. Some might find that more weird than skipping a grade.
-
Reminder of how Minnow and Askren feel about each other. Of course, Askren’s feelings were justified but then Minnow got butthurt
-
Let’s not obsess about the data that we don’t care about. We care how weird it is to skip a grade or two to get an athletic advantage over your peers.

Your AI is hallucinating (the AI industry's attempt to rebrand "making shiit up"). There is no way 20% are 15 or under.

I don't care what anyone says about you Jimmy, you are one funny dude... -
What is the argument now? Which Religion is more dangerous and prone to fundamentalists attacks? This can't be a real discussion. Domestically-Christian Fundamentalists Globally-Muslim Fundamentalists This shouldn't even be a discussion. This is a predominately Christian Nation, ergo, you have MANY times more "Christians" who commit acts of terror. Globally...even though there are more Christians, there are MANY times more fundamentalist Muslims and they pose a far bigger threat. As for the videos of who is more insufferable, someone praying to Trump or crying to Trump or some...self diagnosed "neurodivergent" person crying... they're both impossible to watch and equally ridiculous.

Bader mentioned there was a group text and did say Ben asked for wrestling results (which Minnow said but Amy’s post didn’t), guessing he somehow got one of the guys on that text chain to share with him
-
It is equally gross that people continue to give him information so that he can squeeze in.
-
I just went back to check. I'll be curious to see who gets their's first.
-
I thought the same thing. Amy releasing her statement, and then undoubtedly giving one of Ben's closest friends, of over 20 years, the okay the use Flo's platform to provide a thoughtful, personal, and emotional account of what has been taking place for the last several weeks was undoubtedly the way this should have gone. Minnow trying to squeeze in was gross.

Given that it's a majority black sport, the top earners will skew black, obviously. The question is whether there's a racial disparity in NIL money in relative terms. You're talking about a specific sport and specific gender, and I don't particularly feel like combing the academic journals to find a study specific to your request. If you'd like to, feel free, and share the data. Would be interesting to see. Or if you want to do it yourself, my suggestion is you take a respected publication's objective ranking of the top 100 men's NCAA basketball players based on merit, then take a ranking of the top 100 NCAA men's basketball players based on NIL money (e.g. from on3), and then run a regression of the data sets where you isolate race. See if white players earn more on average relative to their merit than black players. Tell us what you find. Skimming the on3 list of the mediocre white male BBallers making huge dollars, I'm guessing you might be surprised what your research yields. But I hope you do it and share it with us.

Exactly. It’s all deflection and it’s Iowas fault. Ok, whatever little bro. Entitlement is fine but don’t package it like you’re some kind of victim.
-
I wasn't able to find any sources that I'd consider "credible" but if you do a simple good search, it suggests that nearly all high school juniors are 16 and will turn 17 during the school year with the exception being early starts/those who skipped a grade/those held back (which is a negligible number as a whole) there is not a remote chance that 20% of high school juniors are the same age I was as a traditional freshman.
-
Don’t make it any less weird to be a military aged junior. Or any of these other dudes that pull the same shenanigans.
-
Yeah, I understand that. But in a case that's this high profile...really in any case in which someone needs a transplant, you have people at the Hospital who will help you with the Insurance. For lesser things...even medications, they will deny, but this is on ESPN. I'm not expecting purity from Insurance companies, I'm expecting pragmatism. And I would think Ben's wife and all the people around him would be pressing and looking for questions. He has Dana White in his corner. So it's making wonder if they're using a legitimate reason to deny the claim.

Very skeptical of this claim
